In my 50's, still remember when you could enjoy outdoor activities for free or cheap. Thank you for providing this for all the non-country club citizens! Clean, well kept, all kinds of activities for all ages! Thank you thank you thank you!

The bike trails are the best. they have a beginner trail for beginners and oldies like me and then for those that like it wild they have a couple that will take your breath away.

Great place for a town like Tyler. Primarily undiscovered, but should be a hot spot for frisbee golf and Mountain Biking. Trail runners are becoming more common as well.

Faulkner Park is the home of all types of ball...from girl's softball, to baseball players from t-ball to high school age. It has a playground, tennis courts, concessions, restrooms, a fishing pond, and even a small water park area for little ones to get wet under the sprayers. There is also a bike trail at Faulkner. If you are going to a ballgame at Faulkner...in the summer...be sure to bring sunscreen, water, and umbrellas. There is limited shade protection, and the trees surrounding the fields are pretty small, altho they do provide some shade.

This is a very nicely done park with activities to entertain children for hours. Our kids especially loved the spray parky and the climbing rock.

Was here in late-July for a state baseball tournament and Faulkner Park is where the fields are located. Excellent facilities!

I took my family for a drive through Faulkner Park yesterday just to see how it looked this year. It has 4 or 5 baseball diamonds which is fine if you're a baseball fan. It is very clean and well maintained. It also has a fishing pond where I have fished in the past which is nice. It would be a nice place for a family outing and it is close to Tyler, Texas. It has a pleasant atmosphere.

Nice, well maintained city park with good trails that can be used for running, mountain biking, or walking. I've been biking there a number of times. The trail is good for beginners and intermediate riders. If you're extremely good you may find it too easy, but it's a good ride and easily accessible.

I enjoyed walking on the nature trail. Great parking and well maintained. Very clean and I will go again.

I come to this park often. There are many challenging bike trails and nice walking trails, a water park for the kiddos, baseball, tennis, and much more. If you are interested in Geocaching, the park has several nicely done geocaches hidden along the trails. Families often enjoy the challenge and adventure of geocaching with children or solo. You can find more information at www.geocaching.com

This is a very clean place to take the little ones to run and play. The equipment is new and well taken care of.

We just discovered THE REST of this park because a co-worker told us about it. Drive past the ballfields and turn left at the sprayground sign for a great family outing. (We never knew all of this was back there!)A large sprayground/splashpad accommodates a lot of children easily. (Mom note: clean concrete slab and sprayers with a variety of water-splashing/spraying levels for varying ages.)A few steps away from the sprayground are two playgrounds: one specifically just for little tots. The thrill factor on the "big kid" playground is the slick, metal slide that is alongside a hill. My child zipped down it a hundred times. The children can either climb up the rocks or walk up the grassy hill to get back up to the top. A few park benches are scattered around for adults, but it looked like bringing a camping chair from home would be the best idea, or perhaps a picnic blanket barring there aren't any fire ants. You can pack the cooler and enjoy a free day at the park as there is no admission fee.
