Looks like a great place that's off the beaten path. Place for cooking out and lots of family fun. I was a bit concerned at the number of people allowed in the swimming area, seems this should be limited. My main concern was sanitation and safety. I think this would be a great hangout on a hot day if it were less crowded.

Love this place, been going for 20+ years. There are things to do for all ages. The food however is extremely expensive. BRING YOUR OWN COOLER!!!!!

I'd rather keep this old time gem to myself! But according to the acres of parking and line snaking down the road to get in, seems like the word is out. Burger's Lake takes you back to the waterparks of the 1960's. Just tried and true fun in clear, cool water on hot summer days with your friends and family. Plenty of huge trees to spread out under, grills provided to bbq some lunch, a concession stand with good food and better prices, and lots of fun. A gem.

Without a shadow of a doubt, this is Tarrant County's most awesome public swimming hole! A true bucket list item for both local and out of state visitors. Booyah! Oorah! and Yeehaw! Last one in is a dirty rotten egg! LMAO!

Sandy beaches, huge inner tubes for rent, BBQ grills, changing rooms and restrooms, trapeze, slide, fountain, diving boards etc. reasonable pricing. Great family fun.

I've been going to Burger's Lake since I was in junior high, so back in the early 1980s. The only thing different, besides that they check the water more frequently, is that the BIG slide that used to be by the high dives, was taken down a few years back. I brought my kids to Burger's Lake for the first time about 10 years ago, and they loved it. There is a shallow end for little kids, beaches for them to build sand castles, then for the big kids, huge diving boards, SPRINGY diving boards, a trapeze, and a few other slides. This place is great. at $12 per person, you can bring in your own food and drinks, no alcohol, but there is also a concession stand with reasonably priced items. There are grills for cookouts, volleyball nets both in sand and grass, and you will just have a GREAT time! Get a group of friends to meet you here for a wonderful day!

I read some good and bad reviews. One even complained about her hair smelling after swimming there. Please know this is not a swimming pool, it's a spring fed lake. The water is decently clear for being natural water. We always have a great time and the family that owns it is always very generous. We have at least for the last 3 years been able to go to a spina bifida fundraiser walk there. They host the entire group for free and everyone has a great time. Been going since I was a kid and my kids thoroughly enjoy it. I actually prefer it to an actual lake where the water is a little scarier. They have a few sandy beach areas for little kids and plenty of slides and high dives for the older ones.

If I ever return to ft worth I would definitely come here. There is so much to do. I dont have anything bad to say about the place. You can bring food in but they sell food at cheap prices. Awesome place to swim.

We go to Burger's Lake every year around the end of July for our friend's daughter's birthday. This place is just a gem! You can bring in your own food, grills, what have you. They do not allow alcohol and they do not allow loud music coming from vehicles. It's still a great place to take your family for good old fashioned fun. The slides, trapeze, diving boards keep the kids and the kids at heart occupied. Plenty of shade trees for those who just like to chill out. Lots of picnic tables and grills. They are very safety minded here as well. They have 2 scheduled swim breaks each day for 15 minutes each where they ask everyone to exit the water and check in with their group. The lifeguards here aren't the friendliest, but they take their jobs very seriously. All in all, a great place for summer fun!

Recently there with our family. The kids ranged in age from 2-17. Everyone had a great time. The grounds were nice, and the restrooms were much better than anticipated. We brought our own food and there was ample space for grilling out. As we were there during the week it was not overly crowded. We definitely will be going back in the future.

This little hidden gem is a fun place to go to cool off. They have slides, diving boards, and a trapeze swing to enjoy the water. They even have a kids section that has some of the same features. It is a sandy bottom, spring fed lake that has shady spots as well a sandy beach. They have picnic tables and grills too. If you don't want to bring your own food they also have a snack bar. I went to Burger's Lake in the 70's with our church youth group and now my daughter and I enjoy going out here Overall this is a great, fun, family oriented place to spend the day.

I've been coming here since the 60s. My dad came to Burgers Lake in the 50s. We LOVE it. It's extremely fun, clean & safe. We come back every year at least twice.
