Loved taking my dog for walks on sidewalks and trails. Lots of bike riders and families enjoy good wholesome fun.

The Falls are beautiful, but a little hard to find. If you park at Lucy Park, the walk is about half mile from parking. But if you park on the service rode, it is just a few steps from the highway. Great picture opp.

Went here after seeing it off the highway. Its a bit of a walk to get to the falls, but the trail is paved with parking close to the trail. The Trail follows the river and is worth the walk. I went in the afternoon by myself to photograph the falls and was not disappointed. It is wheel chair accessible to the base of the falls. There are steps leading to the top, which are made of stone and well made and decorative.

Small falls but still a good walk around the falls, lots of photo ops too. People even ride horses through here.

Nice place for a stroll along to the falls, not much else to look at, although worth a visit if in the area.

This park is Huge! Be prepared to walk a ways to see the beautiful falls. The tree lined trails hug the river and I even picked some mistletoe along the way. Even though the falls are man made they are worth the walk. At the time of year the grass is brown. I would love to see it during the spring.

The water was shut off so there was no falls. The walk through the woods is fairly level and paved, really peaceful. Just disappointing that there is no falls this time of the year.

We were on a Saturday afternoon drive from Dallas and stopped at Wichita Falls for lunch and looking for a diversion. I found the falls Lucy park and we stopped for a walk and some pictures. I was amazed and the falls more than surpassed my expectations! The walk is really nice with a cement path that makes it accessible to almost anyone not just outdoorsy hiker types. The falls are beautiful and a great picture opportunity, such a contrast to the completely quiet passive Wichita river.

Nice little park in the city. Walked to the Wichita Falls. Trail was very nice. Paved and dirt. Very scenic.

It was a lovely visit. The family and I walked the trails that led to the waterfalls and it was absolutely beautiful. Nice play to get out and get a little exercise or even somewhere to site see. Will be walking this trail again on our next trip to Wichita Falls, TX.

They had two very nice playgrounds for the kids to get the wiggles out before we hit the road again. Lovely shaded picnic areas. We took a longish hike to the falls just because we didn't know where the were actually located in the park. ( Tip- take 1st right as you enter the park, park your car in the parking lot there and then follow the marked trail .25 mile) but the longer walk was worth it to go over the suspension bridge and look at the animal prints in the mud flats( we identified racoon, deer, and several rodents of different sizes that we were not sure of) There is also a city swimming pool that looked quite nice although we did not check it out.

The original falls were destroyed by a flood in the 1800's. The current falls were built to replace them 30 some years ago so yes they are not a natural waterfall. However, you would think for a city named for the falls, that they would have them running during a weekend during the summer. Instead, on the particular Saturday we were there they were not running. The were off and not running in the morning and it stayed that way until mid afternoon when we drove by later. The falls would normally be seen from southbound I-44 but this particular day you see rocks and metal sheets. There was no evidence of a leak or other maintenance going on just that they were not running. Being a lover of waterfalls I was extremely disappointed that the city's main attraction was anything but.

We took a short day trip to Wichita Falls, Texas from Dallas. I looked on trip advisor for options of places to eat and things to. We went to Sheppard Air Force base to pick up our son around ten and saw that Lucy Falls wasn't to far away and headed that way. Thought it would be a great photo opt, it was beautiful. We saw from highway and that teased us, couldn't wait to get there and stretch our legs. nice trails to falls and friendly people sharing the trails bikers and hikers. It was worth the walk. we loved the bridge and the benches to sit and chat and just enjoy our time together. Treated to turtles, herons, snakes and all kinds of birds. Then made to end and saw the beautiful falls. Totally worth it !!! Can't wait till we return.

The park is very nice. The pond area is very nice with a little bridge to cross over. It makes for excellent pics! Nice stop to have a picnic.
