Castaway Cove has been in Wichita Falls long enough now that they should have business figured out. Unfortunately this is not the case. I went along side my family for a party and after the poor attitude at the ticket window we found ourselves in the management office to get absolutely nothing accomplished. My family stayed for the party, and possibly part of the complications can be blamed on the organizer of the party. But I will never give them a dollar of my money. If you don't plan on getting in the pool don't go, because you will pay full price regardless of your intentions.

Castaway cove sure beats the crowded white waster parks any day. Our children had a great time. We bought the birthday package and our hostess has super attentive and sweet. All the staff we had contact with were extremely polite and helpful. We will be back.

This is a great water park. My children (ages 6, 8, and 10) have a blast there each time we go. It is one of the few attractions in Wichita Falls for children during summer months. It's pricey, especially for bigger families, but after 4pm, it's half price and they close at 8pm so 4 hours will be plenty (for my family). There is plenty to do. Every ride was thrilling. There is a shark show that had an amusing host and allowed time to just sit still and relax. The only downers I found were: 1) Absolutely no food/drink is allowed in and of course, their food/drink items are way over priced. Again the disadvantage for larger families. My children were not allowed to evening bring in the Gatorade that they were drinking.2) There are only one set of bathrooms at the entire facility and they are by the entrance. If you have younger children and are in the kiddie pool area, you will have to run a good ways to get the little ones to the restroom. Also the female restroom was just filthy. A major turn off for myself. I know that there are lockers there. For the most part, the lifeguards and other workers were kind, teens. I did have one incident with someone who was not so polite but I will not turn this review into a rant. I'm sure it was an isolated incident.

We buy season passes each year. It's overpriced (especially food and drinks), but it's a fun, safe, and clean place to take the kids several times over the summer months. We always meet up with a few friends and family too.

We took two kids under 4 and they were busy the entire time. They had a blast. My daughter went down the slide so many times ahe had a sore butt cheek. The lazy river is awesome because the water moves fairly quickly. Great place. The food is kind of pricey.

Its no Hurricane Harbor but its a nice little get away. A little over priced in my opinion. We have only gone once because of the price. The Iowa Park pool is just as much fun and alot cheaper.

Castaway cove is a great deal if you live near by and get a season pass ($99 for all season long which includes a couple of discount tickets for family or friends). I love being able to go every day even if it's just for an hour. We are very much in a drought, but WF is transporting water in to keep this park running and is still able to make a profit for the city. There is a lovely area for the kids, an adult area, plenty of covered tables. Food is typical mall type of stuff but it works. Overall I am pleased to have a place to go and cool off and enjoy the water in such hot weather.

Not too much offered for the price....way over what they offer. That coupled with the rude staff is exactly what you would expect from a city owned-bailed out waterpark in the city in the middle of a drought-waterpark.

we bought the girls season passes last year for Christmas and then did it again this Christmas. It is great if you have young kids or swimmers. I waited until my youngest knew how to swim before buying the season passes.

Castaway Cove is a compact water park that offers fun and relaxation for all ages. Comprised of a lazy river and a few slides, it is expecting a new, exciting attraction for the 2014 season. The cafe offers a variety of pizza, burgers, and snacks. CC is a great place to spend a day in Wichita Falls.

this is a low budget park. to walk in, it's like walking into a garage sale verses department store...this attraction has been in wft for a while now and saturaday was a 1st for me...it's super generic...this was a company sponsored event cheaply done...food was d+, souvenir shop an f+ and over all experience sad...(company provided a hamburger or a hot dog and a drink)...prices extremely high( it's as if they thought they were a real water park)...there were lots of people there seeming to enjoy themselves and they can have it...not my cup of tea, for me it was a terrible experience to say the least...

It's the best waterpark in Texoma! It's also the only waterpark in Texoma. It has all the expected features for a waterpark, even if it's a bit small. Coolers are NOT allowed inside, but there are tables outside the facility for having a picnic (on concrete). The city bought this waterpark a couple years ago and have done a good job keeping it clean and relevant, even planning on putting in new rides.

This place was about to go under when The City of Wichita Falls bailed it out. Keep in mind we are in a severe drought and the taxpayers float this water park. I just don't understand.

We usually go later in the afternoon after their daily rate drops, our daughter usually doesn't handle more than 3 hours at a waterpark at a time anyway, and it is a little cooler. They have a number of good slides and probably one of the best lazy rivers I've been to. The kids area is large with several degrees of depth. We always have a good time.

In the hot north Texas summer, Castaway Cove is a great place to soak and get some relief. Bring money as drinks and snacks are pricey. I think we will pack a lunch next time.
