My 19 yo son had tried locking in an appt to jump for 3 different weekends only to have the weather cancel the jump, but he finally got to do it this past weekend. Each interaction he had with the staff at Westside was cordial, professional and understanding. He had Kevin as his instructor for the tandem jump. Kevin made our son very relaxed and helped maintain his excitement throughout. Evidenced on the video of his jump, my son's face shows the rush of the experience. He immediately signed up for his next jump when he entered the office. We would have no hesitation in returning or recommending this location for anyone to try.

My intial contact attempts with Westside was via facebook messenger, just general questions, these went unanswered. Direct phone calls proved the best approach- staff that took phone calls were friendly, informative, professional. My sky dive plan: this would be my second skydive experience. My plan for my birthday weekend was to stay overnight at a hotel in Sealy, do my two tandem jumps and then complete my "ground school" training, so that I might progress into advanced skydive training. The incentive of West side was the advertised 25,000' tandem, obviously not for everyone, but appealed to me. Understand this: I am spending around $1,500 for the class, the two tandem jumps, the bulk of the money is the extra cost for the high altitude jump. Here's how it happened: I was told by the staff that they would not allow both tandems to occur in he same day, rationale was the 25,000' tandem is very taxing to the body. The "ground school" was taught by a very good instructor, Daniel. Currently West Side is constructing new facilties, this is much needed because as of the time of my visit, the ground school aspect was very difficult to attend, the building is just too small for visitors, staff. The tandem jumps: my high altitude jump aspirations were repeatedly delayed by altitude restrictions placed by regional air traffic control. On my first day at West Side episodic rain and the time restrictions of my "ground school" delayed my first jump until nearly 5 PM. Around 8 PM that same evening staff from West Side called me: swimming in apologies and rationale on why I could not get my high altitude jump done, and aspirations that it may get accomadated tomorrow, early. The next morning, by 9 AM I was airborne, doing my HALO tandem with Austin. Conclusion: West Side skydivers staff is customer oriented and will help you have a safe, enjoyable skydive experience. I was very impressed that they would tell me "no, you cant do both jumps in one day, its not safe for you". Despite the fact that I am a paying customer, they still advocated for me, things may not have gone exactly like I wanted, but they still continued to help me get my sky diving experience done in the safest manner. I would rather be told no, than yes in these circumstances.

I had a fantastic experience at Westside. These guys are good at what they do. It seems as safe as skydiving can be, without taking the thrill out of it. Serious and laid back at the same time. I will do it again and refer them to others.

These Guys ROCK!! My father and I took the jump and it was incredible.Their professionalism and safety consciousness really made my experience amazing. They make you feel right at home and very comfortable. I suggest if you are in the area to head out there and make that jump!

This was my first time skydiving. It was a tandem dive. I felt really safe--even though they make you watch this whole video on how dangerous it is to skydive. I bought my second dive and will do it again this summer.

My boyfriend took me to Westside Skydivers for my birthday as a surprise. I'm the kind of person who loves thrilling experiences, so it was right up my alley. But, I think everyone would feel comfortable at Westside Skydivers. It's the perfect place for your first skydive whether you're excited or hesitant. The staff is really social and pretty much treat you like a long-time friend from the moment they meet you. They are telling jokes and keeping you relaxed from suit up to the jump, and even after you get back to the office.Prices at Westside are also reasonable compared to others in the area. We used a Groupon, but then also purchased a video option (6-10 minutes about) that included approximately 60 photos. The assigned camera people were excellent and produced amazing shoots/footage. It was beyond worth it. And, again, was priced well compared to what others charge (and some don't include photos as a package with video). They also give you the option to purchase a second jump for a super-reduced price if you purchase it either same day or 7 days after your first jump. The best part is that the second jump can be used anytime in the next year. My boyfriend and I had such a great time that we called back that day and purchased a second jump.I can't say enough great stuff about this place. They are professional, friendly and make your first jump everything that it should be. Shout out to Eadie and Tubbs! Thanks guys!!
