For under 4 year olds this isn't very good. They have rules where you can't hold your child going down the slides so if they're a bit scared there's none for them to go on apart from two smaller ones. There's no splash area or paddle pool for babies. There are no lifeguards at the slide entrances letting the kids know when to go. My child got hurt twice because when she went down the slide (after checking it was clear) other kids got in at the bottom and started climbing up. (Again, no lifeguards to keep an eye on this stuff) The wave pool is crowded and little kids keep getting squashed by everyone on tube so I tried to take mine to an emptier part of the wave pool but was told by the guard my child couldn't be in the deep part because she had a life jacket on (doesn't make sense). Loads of bugs in the wavepool. Over priced food $8 for hotdog, coke and chips. $8 for a locker. Only one food concession and was ridiculously slow. There's a barbecue one too but that wasn't even open (and it was the weekend). When you do finally get your food there's nowhere to sit because people with ice chests have claimed all the tables by putting all their towels and ice chests for the day (park should have signs for designated seating if you're buying food from them). And top it all off they make you exit through their gift shop/ice cream shop.

My child nearly drowned, thanks to the lifeguards and the service overall was horrible as the supervisor told me complain about my problems somewhere else when I told her about my child. Never go here!

I love this place for my 5 and 7 year old. I think once the kids are in those pre-teen years, it might be a bit too baby-ish and I saw it based on the fact that on my two visits, there are very few kids that look much older than 15. With that being said, it is perfect for us! Contrary to another reviewer, there was little Christian music being played, but yes there are signs up promoting values and a few Bible verses. If Christianity is not your thing, then go somewhere else, but it is not in your face, you have to look for it.I noticed today that most people arrive like we did at park opening or close to it and it seemed that almost all left by 3. We stayed until 5:30 and there were very few people left. I think next year we will buy a season pass since the kids loved it so much and I do not have to hover over them since the main area is so concentrated. On the food front, I would pay the $10 cooler fee because the meals range from $6-9 and then there are drinks besides the meal. I bought the combo ticket with all you can drink, which was nice, but next time I will bring a cooler. My main reason is that my kids were hungry later and I did not want to pay the money for another meal.

Love the tucked away location and small size of this water park. Concerned about the lack of attention on the part of the guards. Saw plenty of kids running and a few (but not all) guards with eyes off water on a pretty consistent basis. It would be nice to have more healthy snack options at the snack bar but with the prices already inflated, healthy food would probably be a fortune. Will visit again since kids are teens and are trained guards and first responder trained, themselves. They are the ones who noticed the lax guarding. Step up the game, management!

There customer servis is very bad. Staff is rude and also very slow. The park is small and very expensive.

This is our 3rd season pass and each year the quality declines. This year none of the rinse showers work or water fountains. The wait at the snack bar is ridiculous for the number of employees present and I caught them cheating my 6 year old on her pizza combo order (2 slices, chips and drink $8.) I was sitting a few feet away watching her and noticed that they gave her only 1 slice of pizza and no change from a $10 bill. I corrected the issue and all I got was a weak, "Im sorry.: Don't depend on the life guards in the wave pool as this is the 2nd year that I have had to help a swimmer in distress right at the guard stand. He was busy talking to some girls . . . both times. Don't count on them to prevent older kids from simply pushing past youngsters on the slides either. They either don't care, or are letting their friends cut the line or are afraid to intervene.

We had a great time and do recommend the park. It seems very clean and the staff is friendly. The lines for the slides move VERY slow and so do the food and beverage lines. I literally waited 45 minutes for lunch and for a slushy. The red slide is super fun, but the music that was supposed to play did not because their "iPod was broken". Also, one of their rides had a weight limit for a group, but their scale was broken, so they asked us all of our weights. The price to get in is very reasonable and so are food prices. Overall, the kids had a great day.

We visited here in Summer 2013. There was a young woman chatting with her friends instead of watching swimmers on the lazy river. When I told the manager, he followed up right away and understood my concern for safety.

Go early and it is not that crowded.Do not expect a Schlitterbahn. If you want Schlitterbahn, go to San Antonio. The wife and I get season passes, go a few times and it pays for itself. Like the title says, you can do everything in about two hours if it is not that crowded. So go before it gets hot and crowded, then pop over to downtown Roanoke for lunch. Otherwise find a coupon and save a couple of bucks. It is a chain, and you can use your season passes at any of the other locations in the area.

We came while we were visiting relatives who have season passes and had a wonderful time. It is small but that was part of the appeal for us. It had a great variety of slides and activities for all ages. We LOVED that they had Bible verses posted as well as played Christian and 80s music. It didn't seem any more expensive than other activities in the DFW area. We are talking about making another trip before the end of the summer so we can go again.

Park had newly opened and didn't have the full complement of rides. Hopefully better now. Just a waterpark in the country.

A great place to go with the kids. A lot of fun for everyone! A must do when the weather is right. Great pic nic areas and good service.

Hawaiian Falls is a small, waterpark with a surprising number of slides and such in a compact area, but not much variety. My sons ran through the slides a couple of times, but tired quickly of the long lines. Expensive.

I've taken the kiddos to several of their locations and it was really nice for the first season opened. It's loads of fun and peak times can have lengthy wait times. The disappointment came the following year when the paint was peeling off the sides down the lazy river, water was murky. Never returned. Hope its improved, it was a great outing.

We will be getting season tickets this year. We love it. Our kids alwasy had a blast when there. They added new rides this year which makes it even better. Great family fun.
