the spa at la torretta

Awesome! For sure we will return! So much to do at La Torretta, swimming, dining. The spa is excellent and overall the staff are like the resort 5 stars! keep the great work up!!

Very nice facilities....especially the spa package. My wife and I had a great time and would definately recommend this "getaway" for anyone. There is also a great golf course on site.

Nice rooms with great views of the lake. The water park is awesome. Everything for adults and kids. Food costs are a little steep, but several good places to eat within 10--20 minutes. Nice sushi/piano bar area.

The valet was not professional definately not 4 star hotel. The food was awful at the restaurant. The pool is great, the room was clean and nice. Have a room for children with tv and games,

I loved the spa! I had the Fiji deluxe mani/pedi and it WAS AWESOME!! They treated me like royalty! Can't wait to go back!

(I'll keep it short & sweet as possible) Showed up and valet was just standing around goofing off not directing traffic or helping anyone. Finally got help & made it to check in where we waited in line. Were told we didn't have a reservation, although we made it by phone 2 weeks prior..after 10 minutes were told they misspelled our name..then told room not ready..then told will be ready at 4 pm..pointed out to them it was 10 after 4..advised that we needed a room to get ready for a wedding since we'd driven almost 2 hours for a wedding..looked around the lobby & made conversation with multiple groups sitting with their luggage to find out they were waiting for a room as well...time went by so I changed in a stall in the hallway men's room..made difficult decision to have me go ahead to the wedding while wife waited for room to be ready & had hotel drive her to wedding venue...wife missed the wedding ceremony & barely made it to the reception...had breakfast at the hotel where they kept running out of clean plates for the guests..after breakfast went to check out where they handed us a $56 bill for a supposed "upgrade" that we were never informed about & while this was happening employee was laughing saying that she had heard about our story - basically the employees were laughing and joking about our situation. There are other hotels to stay at in the area that I know would have much better professionalism, punctuality, and customer service than this place that ruined what was supposed to be a wonderful life experience event and relaxing weekend! Stay far away from this poor excuse of a business!!

The La Toretta spa is amazing! Probably one of the highlights of my trip...it's pricey though so take advantage of the specials through the hotel's website...

I had a wonderful facial in the spa. This spa has really come together nicely. I was there when it was brand new, and there were a few glitches then - - not any more!

What you see on the internet is not what you get. Allegedly a 4 star resort, it is bug infested and the service is poor at best. We could see where the prior guests had killed bugs on the wall and they remained on the wall during our visit. It was disgusting!!! We had to dodge bugs while trying to get in and out of our room. We stayed on the lake front property. It was very overpriced for the service and lack of cleanliness. I will NEVER return nor recommend. I advise you to go out and visit prior to reserving if you are in the surrounding areas.

I thoroughly enjoyed my Express package spa experience. Visit the spa if you can. The steam room is pretty great too.

I felt a bit rushed, not the goal when you're spending a good bit of money to relax...

The prices are comparable to, if not less than, most day spas and the facilities are far superior.

A1- Top of the line - You have to try it if you go there. It is nice and very worth your time and money.

I wrote a review for the hotel and included our spa information, but wanted to put it here in a separate spa review as well:While the kids played at the pool my friend and I visited the spa for massages. The spa was immaculate, quiet, serene. I had a Swedish massage and my masseusse was PERFECT! Afterwards we were offered beverages, even champagne. We ended up ordering lunch into the spa and hanging out in the amazing fuzzy chairs for FOUR HOURS! Now that's a testament to an atmosphere and staff - to not want to leave for FOUR HOURS!I am now the one asking all my friends if THEY have heard of La Torretta. You now have a new family to add to your returning guests! We cannot wait to come back!

I was there for Mother's Day weekend with some girlfriends for some TLC. Our stay in the towers were great. The food was so-so. My biggest complaint is regarding the management at the spa. I love going to the spa so I was really excited to finally be able to get away and just relax with my girlfriends. I don't think that I'm an unreasonable person but really, if I'm willing to spend so much money some place you would think that they could have the courtesy to treat us better. Our appointments were booked and confirmed with the "Assistant Manager" upon our arrival. She was very unprofessional and unorganized for someone with that title. We had to wait about an hour in between each services when we signed up for back to back services. When we brought this to her attention she didn't really offer anything to help the problem. Just kind of brushed me off like, "oops, oh well." She then tried to move our appointments further into the day! Did she think that we didn't have anything better to do with our day?! When we asked for the spa manager, she was not available! Why is there no manager on one of the busiest days of the year?! Once back into the treatment rooms, it was great. The massage therapist, Carol (I think) was fabulous and the facial was wow! Carol(?) really got into my muscles and massaged me out. Great job! My esthetician (asian girl) was very knowledgeable. She was young and tiny but don't let that fool you. She did wonders for my skin and she wasn't pushy like most cosmetologists at other spas. Overall, I had an okay stay. The treatments at the spa were great but I was really surprised and disappointed at how we were treated by the management of the spa. It took away everything that was good for me that weekend. I will definitely not be back.
