First of all I would like to say that I bought a local news paper half price deal coupon $15 for $30 worth of food. The coupon expired before I realized it. I called the restaurant and told them I had the coupon and that it had expired, they put me in touch with a manager type and he told me that they would honor the $15 face value of the coupon since I had at least paid that much and they already had my money. Easy, right? So a week or so later my wife and I went to the restaurant. Drove @ 20 minutes to get there on a Saturday evening. Arrived about 6:30 PM. First clue was the crowd...there were about 5 tables of people in the restaurant. We told the teenaged girls at the front about our coupon and they told us "No problem just tell your server" Our server arrived at the table talking about how busy she was and how she needed a drink, she acted like she had already had a few...We told her about the coupon and before I could finish my sentence she blurted out "Oh no...that's a Groupon and it's only good for a group...of 8 or more....it says "group" on..so it's only for a group." I tried to explain it to her twice more....I told her about our phone conversation about the coupon and suggested she take it to her manager and get it sorted out. She came back in a few minutes and told us that it was not a Groupon but it was another coupon and we could use it for $30 worth of food...being an honest sort of guy, I again explained the "expired coupon" part and that we were only expecting to have $15 credit...this confused her further. But sh said "that's OK because I've only been here three days" and "are you sure you don't need a drink of whiskey or a beer?" She again took it to the manager. When she returned she told us that they were not going to honor the $15 we had spent on the coupon. We tried in vain to explain that we had talked to someone on the phone (our mistake for not getting a name). She refused to budge. We told her we were just trying to support the new small town restaurant and to try something new, but we were not staying for dinner since they would not honor what we were told on the phone. She was terribly confused by this as well. The girls at the front door thanked us for coming to eat with them...acted like we had been there all night. Very odd experience I hope they put our $15 to good use...maybe by the wait staff another drink.Lesson learned...don't expect anything from this new place...and take care right down a name of the guy on the phone....and to use the coupons.

So I admit that I should have turned around and walked out when they told me it was $5 each for the privilege of sitting outside in a town with 1 restaurant and 50 junkyards but I had a Groupon I needed to use. I ordered potato chip chicken and my gf ordered a veggie burger after 20 minutes the waiter came out andd said they didn't have any veggie patties. Five minutes later he came back and said they found one. Five minutes after that my food arrived, 10 minutes later hers did. Completely unacceptable and any real restaurant would know that. Anyway mine was awful, the center of the pre-made chicken patty was hard cold and tasteless. Her veggie burger was pretty good. Go to Sundance Square and forget this place.
