The theater is now sponsored by Verizon, but is just as nice. Its one limitation is size, as it is a small venue. But the acoustics are amazing and the close quarters does give everyone in theater a respectable view. The lower lever is the best, and worth the price increase for a special event. We had lower level seats for Leonard Cohen and it was awesome! The theater sells alcoholic beverages and decent food offerings. It's worth doing once anyway.

This is a nice place to see a concert. It's easy access on/off of I-30 and parking is easy. However, you can't take drink/food to your seats. In other words, if you buy a soda, then you have to finish it in the concession area or throw what you don't drink away before you go to your seat.

Unless I'm mistaken, this venue is not called the "Nokia" Theatre anymore, but is the Verizon Theatre. Anyway, we traveled from Austin over the holidays to spend the weekend in Fort Worth and, more specifically, to see the Rockettes Christmas show in Grand Prairie! (That is my favorite holiday show, and I will travel about anywhere to see it!). I was pleasantly surprised with this venue. Parking was not at all difficult. After reading all the negative reviews about parking, I can only guess that the venue "heard" you and made improvements? Parking was super easy, fast, and the parking is extremely close to the venue. Actually probably one of the best parking experiences I've had at a decent-sized entertainment complex. I guess I wasn't astonished at the parking fee, since I'd been forewarned about it here. It seemed in line with other similar venues, and since parking was so much easier and more efficient than other venues, I thought the price was completely worth it. The theatre itself is totally fine. I liked that it wasn't huge. We opted to sit close, but kind of on the side. Next time, I think I'll go more for middle, but further back, as the place isn't that big, and even if we were halfway back, we'd still be pretty close.Everything went smoothly. It was not at all a long drive from our hotel in Fort Worth. It was easy to find, great acoustics, great show! I would absolutely visit this venue again.

Had to pay $15 extra just to park at the theater, on top of the cost of show tickets. Disappointing!

The Nokia is easy to get to and parking is good. The theater itself is laid out nicely and you can get refreshments there. The performance we attended was beatiful and am looking forward to going again soon.

Good venue, poor "jumbo-trons" but great sound. Saw Daniel Tosh from a box (kind of far) and Tedeschi Trucks Band along with BB King. It's much more intimate than a basketball or concert arena; however the camera work and screens which we increasingly rely on, particularly with seats near the edges, is LowDef. Several people commented. However, this place is east to get to, parking $15, drinks are a bit steep but were not drinking volume like we're seeing the Grateful Dead in '77 either. Now called the Verizon Theater and it attracts great musical and comedy acts. I'm sure it's easy to find but I guess it holds 3,000-4000 people. BB was a trooper at 86, still plays a few licks on his guitar and knows the lyrics and band members well, and keeps them all in sync. A real crowd pleaser and a natural showman. TTB was just incredible! Susan Tedeschi is in a class by herself (no disrespect, Bonnie), Derek is peerless on slide guitar and their whole band is so tight, playing such a cool blend of blues, jazz, gospel, funk and rock. 11-piece band is one of fhe best ive ever seen. A must see!

Comfortable, but could be cooler during the actual concerts. Security is excellent, food and drinks pricey, but expected. Some concerts have an issue with the sound, depending on where the seats are. But for the most part, prefer going there that any other concert venue in the Dallas area.

Been to numerous concerts here and the place is a gem in the middle of the metroplex!

It is not a huge venue, but it isn't super small either. You can see well from pretty much every seat. Even section 300 is still great seats. I would say the screens need to be updated because they look a little dark and dingy. It isn't hard to get to your seat, the attendants help direct you where you need to go.

We've been to the Grand Prairie theatre three times for concerts. It's very cozy and the sound is just great!

This is the best venue to see your favorite band or artist. I had a wonderful time at this place during a recent concert. The employees were very helpful with directions and overall customer service.

This is one of those personal concert experience locations. No seat here is a bad seat. I went here a bit back to see Chris Rock in concert and then again for my neice's graduation. It's a small venue so, it makes for a great experience for any event and the seating is perfect at this location to make you feel like you are totally part of the experience/event. I definitely like this concert venue.

Another of my favorite places to see a concert. Too bad it's so far from Dallas. But the seating is excellent and there is ample parking.

We were 19 rows from center stage. The surround sound was fantastic. $15 to park was reasonable. Respectable amount of drink for the money. We have the same seats for Cirque Dreams in March. We like this intimate venue for jazz, since the Caravan of Dreams is gone. And we love Chris Botti and his versatile band.

This is best when it is not too hot outside. Next to Lone Star Park hrose race betting park. Easy to find and easy to get in and out of. I attended a Chris Botti concert here that took me away, I felt like I floated out of my body listening to the music. Best for evening performances.
