Come on, it's the shot that started the Texas Battle for Independence. It's "Come and Take It!" It's the Immortal 32 who went to reinforce The Alamo. It's the first injury of the war. It's all that and more! The museum even has the original cannon that the Mexican Army could not wrestle away from the townspeople. What state has that story? Not many, and this museum is free! You should stop by, even if you are just passing through! Doesn't open until 10am, and closes for the lunch hour.

Great display. Price is right! All the history of the town from its birth. Artifacts from the "great scrape". Even some civil war artifacts.
