I have been to the Gruene location pickle shop and had to visit the sister shop in Boerne too. Samples and great service just like the other location. We bought a jar and suggest that if you like pickles that you do too! It won't disappoint

Whenever we visit the Hill Country from Lubbock, we always add a trip to Boerne to stock up on pickles! We will take home at least 6 quarts to last until our next visit.The pickles have a taste like no other pickle I have ever eaten. They are wonderful on BBQ sandwhiches or just eaten alone. They will ship the pickles to you if you cannot make it to their store. They would make wonderful gifts, but we are to fond of them to give any away! Both the regular and spicey are good.....they are not hot, just a very interesting spicey taste.Save the juice when the pickles are gone......makes a great marinade for brisket, pork or chicken!

Everytime we are there stop in buy PICKLES!!!!! They are my favorite pickles and I can my own pickles so that is saying a lot!! I wish I could get the recipe and have them year round!

I go to this place to re-stock on pickles every couple of months. Family-run, very friendly, and they make their own pickles -- and they truly are the best I have ever had! They have two types -- regular and spicy. Stop in for samples if you're in Boerne. You can also call them and have the pickles shipped to you if you aren't in the area.

When visiting Boerne, Texas besure to stop in at the Fickle Pickle inside Carousel Antiques. You can try a sample of the pickles. They come in slightly spicey to a little spicier and are they delicious. The originator of the pickles passed on the recipe to her daughter who makes the pickles right there in the store. They are shipped all over. You will never taste another pickle like them. We always get a jar for ourselves and jars to share with family and friends.
