I don't know if we went to a typical function at this venue, it was a CD release party for a local band (Chubby Knuckle Choir check them out), but we certainly had a fine time with friendly people, who are not afraid to dance! There was no cliquishness, no attitudes or unpleasantness. It was BYOB with a fridge behind the ticket counter with water sodas and ice cups. Nobody judged, everyone seemed to know each other. It's an older building, not very big, I bet 100 people pretty much filled the place. Right in the heart of the historic district, with plenty to explore nearby. Well worth the trip for us.
