Kids loved it! The emphasis on safety was very reassuring as a parent and the view from the treetops was amazing. Ending on the zipline was the highlight!

We went to celebrate my wife's birthday. Family members from 12 to 42 (and my wife and me, who are a bit older) The entire family had a great time. Very physical, so I recommend you know you can negotiate physical challenges and heights.

Went in early May, perfect time, not too hot, not too cold. My 6 y.o. son, 10 y.o. daughter and I did the junior course. After the instructions, my daughter went off in the trees and had a blast. My son was a bit apprehensive at first, but the guides were awesome and helped him do the course the first time around. There was more than enough time to do the course a second time, and my enthusiastic son by then was very comfortable maneuvering thru the obstacles. If we had enough time, my daughter would have loved to try the regular course. My kids will remember this for a very long time. Thank you!!!

We went in the off season in December and had the course pretty much to ourselves. It was so much fun.

This was probably oner of the best times you will have. They have great costumer service as we were running late for our time slot. They still allowed us to join our group and proceed through the course. The course took us a little over 2 hours to complete. Defiantly worth the money! I would recommend wearing clothes that you don't care if they get dirty and sneakers. I would also recommend that you make a reservation online with a credit card because their spots fill up quickly.

This is a really great place - located in a beautiful park with walking/biking trail. Friendly staff. Loved that once you got to the platform, you could choose easy or hard side - this made it nice for our family as i didn't want to be overly exerted after walking for 12 hours the day before at busch gardens.

Go Ape is so much fun that I would go there every weekend if it was possible. I took my oldest daughter there for her birthday and we both went nuts. Be adventurous and go have fun!

I have been on a number of zip courses over the years. Those typically offer stunning views while testing your fear of heights. However, Go Ape is different. It's more like a treetop obstacle course. Yes there are zips, but the Tarzan swings and ring obstacles are the real highlights. My lone word of caution is to pay attention!!! You can get hurt if you don't follow the instructions. Overall, a great experience for any type of thrill seeker.

Spent an afternoon at "Go Ape" to celebrate a friends birthday. We were a large group ranging in age from early 20's to 63. Everyone completed the course and had a blast. It is challenging but not impossible. if your healthy and in OK shape you should have no problem completing the course. The instructor at the beginning went through all the safety procedures and made sure everyone was comfortable. He got everyone fitted in a harness then we were off on our own. He kept an eye out during the first few challenges. Each challenge progressed in effort and difficulty and helped you gain confidence. At some points you could choose a less challenging route.I would recommend this as a great family event or day with friends. There is a canteen next door but it was closed as we were there on a holiday Monday.I would suggest bringing some gloves to avoid sore hands and possible blisters.

This was so much fun! Whee_ I love zip lining!!!!! I took a friend and my 10 yr old grandson. We all enjoyed it. They so a great job of safety instruction. The equipment is in good shape and they work on the grounds and landing areas all the time. There is always a guide around but you feel like you are on your own. Wear clothes you can get a little dirty- you may or may not but be prepared. They encourage you to take your time and enjoy the views and the experience. I appreciated that and we did it too. There are height and weight restrictions for the full Treetop Adventure, but there is a junior course for those too small to fit into the regular safety harness. Wear full shoes that tie on.I will go back and do this one again.

Honestly, this has got to be one of the BEST things offered in Pittsburgh! My hubby and I have been wanting to try zip lining so when we heard about Go Ape and that it was a little more than just zip lines, we were excited...and nervous! Needless to say, it was a blast! Everything is well organized and they give you instructions that make you feel comfortable but not micro-managed. It was the perfect length of time (about 2.5-3hrs) and had a variety of of activities that kept things interesting & fun. We seriously cannot wait to bring some of our friends here as it would be a great activity to do with a small group! My only word of caution is that I would say if you aren't in good physical shape this could be challenging as pulling yourself up a rope ladder isn't as easy as it might seem but by no means do you have to be in peak physical condition to enjoy this. Such a great time!

Wonderful experience with our 8 year old boy and 5 year old girl!! Builds confidence and it's a wonderful team-busing experience as a family. Staff was energetic, helpful and fun!!! Great, start to finish. Can't wait to go back and so the adult course!

My family and I went to do Go Ape at Freedom park, Williamsburg, VA. on the day of my birthday Aug. 16th. It was the most fantastic, amazing birthday adventure ever!!! (It was the gift I always asked for my birthday) The team from the office to the instructors were not only professional but knowledgeable, respectful and fun. Safety first at all times. I recommend this adventure to everyone. We enjoyed and had a blast from beginning to end!!! Thank you.
