My personal experience with Erika is that she will bend the rules of golf to win. Golf is usually a sport where players follow the rules and have respect for fellow players. This was not my experience with Erika. She is in a position of authority and has abused that authority. It is a shame.

Beautiful course on lake with outstanding fairways and greens. Scenery was beautiful. Rental clubs were in great shape (RBZ). Staff was very friendly and welcoming to out-of-towners. Had lunch in the clubhouse after the round and the drafts and food were excellent.

If you are going to play golf anywhere in Northern Virginia, you MUST play Stonewall Golf Club. Located on Lake Manassas just across an inlet for Robert Trent Jones (home of the President's Cup from 1996 - 2005). This scenic first tier golf course will delight the senses and challenge your game. There are t-times that will fit your budget from high end in the morning to more reasonable in the late afternoon. Be prepared to bring your "A" game and plan on hitting shots to spots if you wish to score. Bring your camera! The course is always well maintained and the staff courteous. After your round, enjoy the Brass Cannon for quality food and a great view of the 18th hole.I have played here more than once and every chance I get I go back and play it again. If you can play with someone who has played it before, they can give you hints of where to play shots that can make the experience even more enjoyable.BTW there is always a clothing rack "deal" available to pick up something with the Stonewall Logo to wear!

The restaurant overlooks the 18th green. Very beautiful. Nice food and atmosphere. Simple menu. Very nice place for a business lunch.

Tis was a perfect setting for Mother's Day. They had a great buffet set up in the main rooms. Service was fast and the food was very good. I'd recommend it

The service at this course has gone down hill in the last 2 years, over priced compared to other courses in the area.

Stonewall is one of the more expensive courses in the area so we do not play there often but it is probably the most challenging that I have played in the Gainesville area. The course is difficult with bunkers, water hazards and other impediments. If you do not mind the cost (compared to Virginia Oaks, Prince William GC, Bristow Manor) give this one a try.

This course feels almost as nice as the RTJ course across the Lake. It's very challenging, but not too so. I'm a golf nut and have played tons of courses in VA and this certainly is in the top-5. The staff makes it a point to be exceptionally friendly and respectful and when you pay country club prices, this is appreciated!!

I've played a bit of the course through lessons, but this review is about the quality of lessons (2 years running) with Erika Larkin. She sent videos of my swing, was very patient (last year I was nursing a replaced ankle all summer) and keeps the instruction simple and effective. Lessons were truly helpful and not stressful.

Visited with my husband who golfs there very often. I'm a novice, but I really enjoyed the experience.

Haven't golfed there but walk it regularly. It's a beautiful and challenging course (someday I'll have time to take up golf again).
