Dondero Farms has two locations. We went to the farm on 3582 Hebron Ave in Glastonbury, which has pick-your-own raspberries ($4 for a heaping pint). They were absolutely delicious and some easily fit over my thumb--they were gigantic! They provide you with the pint containers to collect your berries. We came with our 3 yo and 6 mo. I carried the baby, but we could have used the stroller down the rows--they were covered with clover and quite even. It's very low key and a perfect Saturday morning. They had other things for sale in the barn, but we didn't buy anything.

we had lots of fun picking strawberries... and there are other berries and fruit trees too! The little kids have fun toddler equipment to play on. I bought delicious jams for my family and friends. I highly recommend the spiced pear jam!

We love to visit here several times a year. It is a bit tricky to find and GPS doesnt always work accurately, Once it tried to direct me right through a local golf course to get to Dondero's so check it on a map firstIn the spring it is a fabulous place to pick your own strawberries. They also have fresh picked ones available as well. Summer time and the farm store is abundant with tons of local produce that is very reasonably priced.Fall is apple and pumpkin time. The store is open whenever the farm is open and sells home made ice cream, and all sorts of farm foods such as pickles, home made pies and jellys
