We recently heard about this special theatre that is non-profit and hires learning disadvantaged adults.What a wonderful surprise! It looks like someone(s) has put a tremendous amount of money into it. It is a superb theatre. The employees are wonderful - friendly, helpful, and obviously well-trained. Food is many levels above the other theatres in the area. Prices are very reasonable.And the play first-run movies!This will be our go-to movie theatre from now on - forget driving to Mount Kisco or Danbury - we can stay local and visit a truly class act!

I love a movie night out..and this was really a great experience!A beautifully clean theatre, with food and drink,great theatre surroundings..and lovely staff.You can dine here before of during, as well as grab a drink..It is just under a year old..and the building was so nice..Great theatre, sound,large screens and comfy seats to boot!..a really nice night out.What I thought was extra speacial is that alot of staff had special needs, and you could see they thoroughly enjoyed their job..very friendly and so helpful.What a nice night out!!

Brought a small group here with the goal of supporting the mission of the Prospector Theater. Instantly fell in love with the place. Their mission is to provide meaningful employment to persons with disabilities. If that isn't enough to make you take the ride to Ridgefield (and it should be), I will tell you the building is amazing - architecture is fabulous, materials used and attention to detail impeccable - the bathroom is amazing! Every single person we spoke to was so very friendly, helpful and kind. Total of four state of the art theaters with surround sound - each one is individual in design. There is also an adorable café serving coffee and treats along with a full-service restaurant and bar! Instant date night! Cannot say enough about this place!CANNOT WAIT to go back! I'm officially a loyal!

The enchanting town of Ridgefield is blessed to have such wonderful addition to its town; the Prospector Theater. The Prospector Theater is a newly built movie house, which is not only a stunning architectural structure, but it is a movie-goers dream, with small theater settings, incredibly comfortable seating and amazing sound quality.The Prospector Theater's mission is to provide employment to those with disabilities; and the staff could not be kinder or more caring.After watching a movie in this setting, I can not imagine of ever visiting one of those "big-box" national chain theaters ever again.
