We were visiting family for the holidays and needed to contribute to the family gathering. Fairfield Cheese Company made it easy and it was loved by all. Definitely worth a visit when you are in the area.

Such a great surprise. They really know what they are talking about. Fresh, delicous and amazingly knowledgable staff. Will make it a weekly trip, such a great find as we don't tend to have many cheese shops or people that even know anything about cheese. They have specials and cheese tastings and its just fabulous. Also, they keep your purchase on file so you don't have to remember what you did or didn't like! Fabulous!!!!

Consistently great experience here, been my local to-to cheese monger spot for ~ 3 years. When they get to know your palate etc all the better as the staff are well trained and knowledgeable about the offerings which in l mostly artisan caliber cheese and meats

It's nice to support a local small business who has wonderful product and knowledgeable staff, right? If you are looking for cheese for your next dinner party's cheese plate, for an afternoon nosh or just to stock something really good in your fridge, I think FFLD Cheese Company is your place...Tiny little store in the heart of Fairfield with an excellent product offering and really nice staff. Gift certificates here make a wonderful accompaniment to a bottle of wine purchased from the liquor store, next door...and they do pairing classes often. I'll keep going back, you can count on that...

My wife and I really enjoyed our visit here. Geat selection of cheeses and cured meat, and the staff iwas endlessly patient letting us taste to our hearts content, plus very knowledgable about their product as well. Be prepared to drop some serious dough here, the variety and quality comes at a cost, but well worth it.

We initially stopped by to escape the heat, but found a very well-informed owner, great cheese samples, and interesting wine/cheese related gifts. This is not just a strip-mall quick-stop....try to visit and enjoy!

This place is foodie paradise! So much more than their wonderful array of Cheeses. You will find artisan chocolate from Brooklyn, Olive Oils, pickled vegetables, take away in house made hors derves, pepperonis and sausages, brushettas, ALL kinds of delicious things, too many to list. Plus a nice selection of kitchen gifts and books. A great place for gifts if you have a food lover in your life. I found every product I have read about in magazines. The owners and staff are friendly, knowledgable and helpful. You can taste any cheese before you buy. They also offer cheese classes.
