I have never ever seen such a bad customer service. I tried to get in a dialog with them and they prommise on the phone and send you a letter where it stand totaly different tings.I would never visit this place

We visited Mohawk State Park to hike one of the trails they have knowing it is a smaller trail. We brought our dog along for the 1st time and wanted to see how she would do on the trails. The park itself has a few scenic overlook spots and a lot of picnic table spots. Its great place to relax on any given afternoon!

If you are in the Northwest Hills of CT and do not feel like traveling to the coast, this is one of the best places in the state to view the sunset! As there is a 360 degree view at the top, I would imagine it is also a good spot to view the sunrise.

I often travel on Route 4 and stop at Mohawk for a break and the views. Our town's Boy Scout Troop did a weekend campout and hike here. I missed it but they all enjoyed it. Great place to stop by and chill.

The quiet surroundings and natural beauty here make this a magnificent place for individuals and families to spend an afternoon. The bog, the tower, and the summit all provide great backdrops for pictures. We frequently take picnic lunches to Cunningham Tower for peaceful lunches filled with laughter.

Terrific observation spot at summit of mtn with views from viewing tower and top of ski resort. hiking all over if you don't mind starting at top and hiking up hill at end. Number of blue trail blazes hook into stat system of trails

We assumed that when in Connecticut we would easily pick up trail maps. No such luck and even the locals didn't seem to know. One local trying to be helpful showed me a yellowing map on his wall dated 1978. Maps to scale are like hens teeth in New England - frustrating when we could not get google maps because wifi not accessible. the walk we did find was pretty limited. In retrospect I would have stayed in the Green Mountains in Vermont.
