I was very surprised at the exhibits and the fun they had had for kids on this property. The outdoor tree house was fun for the older kids to climb and have adventures. On the front of the property they had more building for the kids, but we ran out of time. Inside the exhibits were full of imagination. I think my husband and I had just as much fun as the kids. It looked to be the same for other parents there as well. Lynn Meadows puts many children's museums to shame. Staff was amazing. As kids would leave an exhibit, they were cleaning and disinfecting the station. Place was kept clean. Great family place.

We've been coming here for over 5 years now and my kids always act like its their first. You can see the beach from it, just a few blocks away. Lots of hands on exhibits.

This is a great place for kids. What a great asset to our community. The staff has always been helpful and appear to enjoy their jobs.

awesome place to go to with kids ten and below. No other place like it! Loads of educational and pretend play. Central climbing area for kids. If you have younger kids, separate area for them to play safely. If nice additional fun out back!

This is all about fun and learning! Great place to visit with kids. Always something going on here. The kids love it. Fairly priced and of course there's a gift shop

There is always something to do or discover and found out at the center. Indoor and outdoor is fun. You can also reserve an area for private functions and the scenery is beautiful with the trees and walkways.

Grandchildren love to go here. Gives them freedom to climb around and use their imagination. Inside and out. Just great fun for all.

if you have kids and are coming to the coast, don't miss LMDC. It is a wonderful hands on experience for children of any age.

My kids love this place to kill a couple hours. best suited for the 4-10 yr old crowd, there are lots of different play areas for them to explore. Incorporates science, art and lots of pretend play areas. Best of all they have a huge crawl cage in the middle that even active adults can crawl up into. Clean restrooms with changing stations and the entire inside area appears to be wheelchair accessible. They are part of the kids museum network, so if you live in the area and travel to other cities with kids museums, the membership is well worth the money. A great place to go on a rainy or hot day for some creative indoor play. Lots of benches for parent to relax and watch the little ones. Staff is friendly and react quickly when a kids get away and gets lost in the 3 level open air building. There is even a huge outdoor play area which includes a play restaurant (covered and attached to building), tree house and pretend outbuildings.

This kids museum is a great idea to get out of the sun for a couple of hours. LOTS for the kiddos to do and discover. But it's only going to take just a couple of hours. The good thing is that they ARE open on the weekends, including Sunday!

I brought my 2 yr.old and 10 month old there today and had a wonderful time. I wish I would have known about this place in the past because they sure will be getting some of my business in the future. My 2 yr.old old had a blast and cried when we had to leave 2.5 hrs later. From arts and crafts to pretending to fly an airplane or grocery shop, for the price and distance from my home this is a HOME RUN. It's perfect for 8 months- 8 years old. Beats the New Orleans Children's Museum In my opinion.

My youngest two children absolutely loved this place. They are still into the imaginary play. Our 8 year old, however, was pretty bored with it. He enjoyed the tree houses and outdoor things, but not so much the indoor activities. The location is a little weird...kind of got nervous getting there. Once there, though, the grounds are very nice and enjoyable. Wouldn't mind visiting again. Look online for a coupon.
