the park at north hills

The last time we visited it is a little out of date. The go carts were not functioning. The put put golf needs some updating. The gaming machines on the inside are okay. They are mostly for small children. This use to the be happening place but not so much any more. They need to update the business.

Did some volunteering while I was here for 2 months for the Navy. Been there twice for visits and twice for Halloween volunteering.While visiting:*Went go-karting - decently size track, lasts a very long time! This isn't like one of those courses where you go around 3-4 times and you're done! I couldn't tell you how many laps it was but it lasted near 10 minutes! Each car is good in it's own way, some are faster with bad handles and others are the opposite.*Batting cage - I've heard some people saying they weren't operating properly. For me, that wans't the case as I was only in one cage that threw my preferred speed. Just like any other cage, some pitches are a little too high or too low, but for the most part it was a good batting cage.*Arcade - They have a good amount of games for all ages. Basketball games, DDR, soccer, air hockey, shooting games, pool tables, etc. They have tickets where you can earn prizes and they also have a small snack stand. While volunteering:Although I didn't get to see it, there is a laser tag area but this space was being used by the new Haunted house/maze that I was volunteering to help out in. The make-up artists did very well on my friends and I, I was actually surprised. I don't wanna give away too many details but for the people who I was supposed to scare, they were terrified! The maze is set up so you can only walk one route but the sound effects and everything were spot on.Overrall this is a nice attraction to hang for a few hours. You can see from the outside this isn't a huge place so I don't understand why anyone would expect too much.

Expected a much larger place. A lot of the games did not work. Came mainly to play laser tag and the lights did not work. Had trouble with the batting cage operating correctly. The place however was clean and inexpensive
