I have been through this cave about 20 times ever since I was a kid and every time it was great. This cave is inside Silver Dollar City in Branson MO so make it a all day affair. Bring the whole family and make it epic for the summer.

This was the second time I've been to this cave. I picked to go here on Father's Day. It wasn't crowded, probably about 10 people in the tour we took. That was perfect because the knowledgeable guide took his time answering all of our questions and we all felt like we could ask even basic things about caves without feeling stupid. Our kids loved it because it was like an adventure...had the feeling of going on a real cave exploration instead of just walking a path through an old worn out cave like so many caves are. First time I went was when I was 16 years old and I'll go back again in another few years I think. It's a little out of the way (about 45 minutes from Branson) but I think it's worth the trip...plus it's a pretty drive in the Ozarks.

I was not expecting such a wonderful cave tour inside a amusement park. I was thinking it was going to be some sort of ride or small man made type thing. I was very surprised and really enjoyed the tour. I think it took us about 45 minutes to do the tour. There is a lot of stairs so if you have a problem with stairs I would not recommend this tour. They do have a tram type cart to bring you back up most of the way. Will do this again when visiting the park.

Great attraction for the entire family although not recommended for those with bad knees or mobility issues. Nor would I recommend this attraction for persons with young children who have issues navigating down steps or tight places.

Loved the cave tour, we were very fortunate that when we went there were only 10 people on the tour. Usually there is about 30. There are rangers that do the tours and depending on which one you get you learn different things. Each one focusses on the aspect of the cave they like the most, so you will get a lot of history thrown in with one another will focus on geology etc. It is a little tight in spots so definitely do no go if you are claustrophobic. There is only one point where you can drop out and return, above ground. After that point you have to finish the whole tour. It was nice and cool when we went, a nice change from the hot summer weather. The only thing I saw that was a problem is where it is situated in the park...now I know they can't move it but you are arriving at Silver Dollar City and it's entrance is just inside the first store you have to go through to get into the actual park. I overlooked it many times (season passes are great) before realizing what it was. Be sure to look for it, we are glad we went

Very insightful and giving enough knowledge about Branson and Silver Dollar city's history. I would prefer it over rides and if you have time on hand, A must do especially with kids but if you can't handle stairs or get castorophobic, I won't recommend this tour.Try wearing shoes that have grip and it gets warmer in the cave so dress appropriately.

I've been on this tour twice. Once as a kid & once as an adult with my daughter. It was just as I remembered. Very cool & a fun adventure. I am a little afraid of small spaces now and in this cave there are many. It was ok, they told you ahead of time so I just dealt with it. Really a neat cave to explore with your family. Make sure you use the bathroom before you get started.

This is truly a Hugh cave, you go down several stories down a tower in this Hugh immense room. Then start off down a trail. There is only one small low part to traverse. Them you come out and go up a tram back to the top.

We are so glad we decided to do this Cave tour under Silver Dollar City. We've been to SDC about 20 times and just have always thought we were too busy well never again. The whole family had a blast and it was just amazing. The state of Missouri has a Cave Association and you can go to their website to join. Well worth it and glad we bought the picture.

This is a great tour to take, especially if it's a hot day (The tour is free with your Silver Dollar City Ticket). The cave is huge as well as beautiful, definitely one of the best in Southwest Missouri! If you plan on going, make sure you are able to climb multiple flights of stairs and bend down, as the cave ceiling is low at some points. This is a great tour and I would highly recommend.

The lantern tour was a very store special treat! Lots of stairs but the trip up is easier since they have a cart to take you!

We did the lantern light tour and it was the highlight of our SDC weekend. My children loved it! Tony our tour guide made it well worth the many steps. We will do this again on our next visit!

We wanted to tour a cave while we were in Branson and were surprised that the tour of Marvel Cave was part of Silver Dollar City. We could not believe that such a great tour was free. Our tour guide, a young fellow whose name has slipped my mind, was fantastic. He pointed out many highlights and always reminded our group of slippery steps or low head rooms. No one in our group had any incidents. Lots of steps. Glad the tram up was working so we didn't have to walk back the way we came!

I was cringing about the walk though but I have to say it was enjoyable and the nice cool air in the middle of the heat is a welcome. You must if able take the tour it's interesting. Thumbs up!!!!!

This was a great experience that was so beautiful and interesting. Tips: wear tennis shoes. Keep to back of tour if you want more time to take pics or if you're afraid you might hold others up. Make sure your camera is on settings for dark as the lighting in the cave isn't great for pictures. Don't take young children down there. Just don't. As long as you can walk a mile and bend over to touch your toes, you will be fine. Awesome tour and experience!
