Nice to see, but not much to do except take a picture. Landscaping was nice when the flowers are in bloom.

I was shocked to see this ranked so high on the list of things to do in St. Joe. It is a monument... albeit a nice one... still nothing more than a monument in the middle of a crazy intersection that you will find a struggle to see any closer than in your car while driving by.

Beautiful monument, Pretty landscaping. Not located at the Pony Express Museum but it is worth the short drive.

We stopped here on our way out of town. It is located a busy street, but there is parking around the block. We parked right in front of it and walked over without having to cross any street. They have four stone markers placed at each corner detailing history about the Pony Express. There is a geocache hidden around here somewhere, but we had no luck. As someone else mentioned, the bushes around the fence are loaded with thorns. Be careful!

You will have to park in a local fast food company's parking lot & cross a busy street to get there. Don't touch the bushes because they have thorns. There is a geo cache hidden there somewhere that I can't seem to find despite multiple attempts.

This is a nice statue located at a three road intersection, next to City Hall. Best parking is on Francis St. There is another nice statue in front of City Hall "No Turning Back."

It is a must see, just beautiful. It is an important part of our history and settling of the west. It was well located and easy to find.

Statue is pretty big, and is worthy of a picture. This is not located near the pony express museum though. There is a small park across the street from the museum that has a couple of markers and a train. This statue is several blocks away from all that. Check it out!

Any native of St. Joe will instantly recognize this statue. A mounted Pony Express rider stirs his horse to gallop, his neckerchief flying behind him.My dad was given a small-scale replica of this statue for service to the Jaycees here, and for a time the City of St. Joseph gave away small castings rather than keys to the city.

We stopped by this while we were out for a walk. There's not much there besides the statue, and some rose bushes. There is a plaque that tells about the history of the Pony Express.
