My mom and I spent a long weekend visiting many antique shops in the Kansas City/St. Jo area and this was by far my favorite. There's just something about this place that makes it special. Its off the beaten path, with a unique selection. Highly recommended and I will definitely be stopping on my next trip to this area.

From Old to New this place has it all. Right off the HWY, it's easy to get to. A little diner is upstairs a couple of days a week. Great booths, great people and great prices. Go often the inventory changes.

Unlike many people, I really do not care for the Jesse James Antique Mall. The St. Joseph Auction and Antique Market, while on the crappiest road imaginable, is really one of the better antique locations in the the area. The space is large enough to spend a few hours in and the staff is very nice. We have found quite a few cheap treasures in the place, but sometimes you have to wade through overpriced junk.Compared to that other store in the area, this place is clean and usually a little less crowded. Also the booths are quite a bit easier to browse in many cases. The place closes at 6pm which can make it hard to shop when you are actually employed, but by all means, make the trip out there!
