We enjoyed this water-park. It was small enough that we could watch our kids all the time but big enough that we all enjoyed it. The hot tub was always crowed - would like them to renovate it at some point to make it hold more people.

We decided to stay here since we frequent hotels with water parks for the kids. This was for our son's 6th birthday weekend. I thought it was small, but the kids loved it and gave it 2 thumbs up to visit again. It has a bigger 3 ft. pool with a smaller 1 ft. pool with a slide for the littles and then a small hot tub and then the water slide , that....my husband said had someone watching it at ALL TIMES...BONUS!!!!! We have been to some where there is not an employee watching and people get crazy on the slide. The staff was friendly no issues with them, coffee always ready in the lobby, typical breakfast and quick to be cleaned and restocked during the breakfast hours. Gave military discount.

I did not stay at the hotel. I tried to book a birthday party for the water park. We do not live in MO, I was trying to find a place to have a birthday were our KC friends and family could come for my sons birthday party. I explained this to the women I spoke to on the phone, she informed me that she could not take payment over the phone and that I would have to come in to pay the deposit for the party room. That is not an option considering we live 7 hours away. She informed me she could put my name down for the spot, but it wasn't guaranteed I would get it. Sure! let me book a child's birthday party with you only to have you give it away, because you have no way of taking my payment. Not an option! We opted not to have a party at the Sleep Inn. A few days later I call about the day passes available for the water park. I specially say "can you please inform me on the cost and how the days passes work?" I was informed of the cost for swimmers and non-swimmers and the hours of the water park. NOT that there are a limited number of passes available each day! So needless to say when I arrive with a small group of children ready to go swimming and I am told that they don't have anymore passes for the day, by the young gentleman behind the counter. Then the young lady behind the counter rudely pipes in and says "we are at capacity anyway". So I leave the Sleep Inn in liberty with a group of not so happy children. I did my best to acquire information to be prepared to attend the water park, and due the poor communication from the staff the experience was still rude and disappointing. Before you attempt to book a party or use the water park as non-hotel guest, I suggest you drill the employees behind the counter for ALL information!!!!!!
