We go here several times a year. It's good size, but not so large that you get overwhelmed and wore out like some places. You won't see a booth that is stuffed full of junk here. The staff is older and sticks to themselves at the front counter unless needed. Free coffee and popcorn is provided as a bonus. It is just off I-35 at the MO-116/Lathrop exit beside the Terex fuel stop and cafe. The Cafe is country cooking great so you can combine it with a visit to the Enchanted Frog. Double bonus!

Traveling from Colorado to Illinois, we saw signs for a lot of antique shops. Some we stopped at were mostly full of things that don't sell well on eBay -- glass, knick knacks, etc. But Enchanted Frog Antiques had a nice selection of many items. The staff was very helpful -- I was looking for a particular type of collectible and they helped me find several items and even called one dealer to get me a better price.Fun!!

On our way back home to Wisconsin, this store was on the side of the highway. It's an easy stop, and worth it, too. It's definitely one of the nicer antique stores we've visited, and we have been to many. Prices were extremely reasonable and there was a lot to look at/choose from. We had planned just a very quick 20 minute stop and ended up staying for 2 hours! Plan to spend some time in this shop, it's like a maze and easy to miss things. The downsides are only a couple and I am sure (or hopeful) it was something that does not happen often. All of the employees gossiped about everyone while we were there. They gossiped about other employees, customers, and even individuals whose homes they needed to go to to pick up items. One female employee went so far to share some very personal details about an individuals home and the state of disrepair it was in, making reference to the show Hoarders. I was a bit taken aback to be honest, but continued my shopping and avoided the employees from that point on. However, about an hour into looking, an older gentleman approached me and went into some theft stories and at that point it was just uncomfortable. We also had an issue with one of our items not making it into our bag and when we called back they said they did not have it, assuming it must have been sent home with someone else even though we were charged for it. A bit of a let down but it would not stop us from going back, we'd simply be more prepared for the personality of the employees and to double check our items before leaving.
