They have a small pond heavily stocked with Rainbow Trout. It is stocked so you are basically guaranteed to catch a large fish. There is not much sport to this and "serious" anglers may scoff at this but it would be a blast for small kids or anyone who hasn't landed a bit trout. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and the property was peaceful and comfortable. You can also buy smoked trout.

This place is better than spending all day on the lake or river, provided - you want to catch fish. The owner is nice and will "hook" you up with a pole and bait. After you catch "lunch" it can be cleaned and put on ice for the trip home. Cost was nominal, $4.50 per pre cleaned pound (subject to change) on the day my family went - no license required. This place is great for couples, kids, or anyone that can throw a line in the water. I will be back.

Complimentary rods & bait, no license requirements, inexpensive fresh-caught trout of your own (cheaper than any grocery store) and custom filleting upon request mean that you and your family or friends can enjoy a peaceful outing of relaxing fishing with absolutely no problems catching fish (even if you need some free tips) with the bait and tackle provided as well as absolutely delicious trout caught from pristine waters. Especially great if you are a traveler visiting Branson or Springfield areas without any fishing gear or a place to cook your fish. The area is pleasing just to lounge around on the benches or use as a small park for your family as well to have a picnic grilling your trout on-site after the catch of the day. You may want to come with the kids just for the joy of seeing these beautiful trout swimming in these clear waters - touring is free! The owner is very helpful with any aspect of fishing, trout life, catching trout, or cooking trout.

A friend of ours at SDC told us about this neet place to take the kids fishing. So we desided to stop here on are way back home. The guy that meet us told us how things worked there so we got 2 poles an started fishing. I baited up the first pole an casted out an before I could bait the second we had a 4lb trout on. Baited the second pole an the same thing happened. So in a matter of 20 mins we had caught 6 but lost 2 for a total of 16 lbs of trout. We had them cleaned an they baged them in ice for are travel home to Oklahoma. So if you want fresh trout you catch yourself this is a great place to stop an let the kids fish an have lots of fun.

My family and I used to love coming here to fish. The previous owners were friendly and helpful. The New fellow running the place not so much. He almost acted as if we were bothering him by coming out. The prices have also risen and were not posted anywhere so we didn't find out till it came time to pay. Plus the fillet job done by the guy was a butcher job he wasted a lot of meat! Also didn't like that he let some random other guy come into the cleaning room and wash his hands in the same sink where our fish that had been cleaned were at. No unfortunately my family and I will probably not go back. All the new decking in the world won't make a bit of difference in the world to me if you aren't friendly. What ever happened to service with a smile! Sure miss the couple that used to run it!

We stopped by to let the kids fish, Great for kids, really fast, water is clear, and comes from a spring, feet away... in about 20 min, we got 5 fish, total 13lbs. Trout. They clean them and pack them on ice.. My GPS had problems finding it, so we just called and they told use an easy way to get to it. Stopped by, going home to Kansas City from Branson.. Still enjoying the fish.
