Gary's Sinclair Gas Station is a major attraction on the Mother Road especially in modern times. If Gary was in he would offer a soda and a 15 minute stop would become a three hour stop. We came across this SW Missouri Gem a while back and we will never forget our experience. The prices, the G+H Stamps signs, the old gas pumps, the history that we long for while traveling the historic route. This attraction is located on ole Route 66 in Paris Springs, Missouri. No word on the future of the stop but we hope it will live on with Gary's and the Route 66 families wishes. --Gary Turner 2/3/1944 - 1/22/2015 --

If traveling through this is a must stop. The owner knows his business and all that has happened on Route 66 over the years. Yes he loves his road history.

Gary is an iconic figure on route 66 known from Chicago to LA. He loves to talk an share information about the road and his love for the road. He has good advice about attractions and places to eat and stay. He sells American made t-shirts and other route 66 souvenirs. Plan on staying a couple of hours, ""talk"" on his phone, get your picture taken with the route 66 flag, and get his signed autographed picture of the station. (free) Enjoy a free water or coke while you visit with him and other route 66 travelers. A DO NOT MISS STOP!

One of the highlights of my trip was getting to meet Gary! Such a great piece of history and I hope that our family can stop by this way again. We also met a wonderful couple from Kentucky who were taking a two week trip and trying to visit most of the route 66 sights. Gary is a sweetheart. Please stop by and say hello to him if you are in the area!

This was a sight for tired eyes. What a wonderful world we stepped into while travelling Route 66. Gary Turner owner and guide was just wonderful. He knew his stuff and was very generous with his time and information. Could of stayed for hours just going through all the treasures there.

We stopped to take photos as was closed. After a few minutes Gary came out of his house to talk to us. What a guy! He very proudly talked us through Route 66 stuff and then we sat on his deck and carried on talking. What a legend.he took some photos of us and me and him, he even gave me a t shirt. Great photo stop.

We drove out of our way to stop at this nostalgic Route 66 gas station on May 31st, and we were not disappointed. Gary is a charmer and adds so much to what he has created. It is obvious he and his family love receiving visitors who share any interest in the old Route 66. We believe it was Gary's daughter who gave my husband a tour of both the replica Sinclair Station and the original shop. He loved seeing both and appreciated her joy showing him the buildings and all (and it is a lot) of the authentic as well as created atmosphere ~ in particular the authentic old garage.I visited with Gary (and another visitor) while my husband was touring and he is truly a charismatic fellow - full of life. He signed a photo which they give away and also signed a pamphlet I had brought with me.Gary and his family, along with local friends, gather here on a regular basis and the visitors who stop by are part of their happy routine. You will feel very welcome here and we would stop again should we be in this part of MO.Thanks to you, Gary and your family, for a nice afternoon reminiscent of days when folks truly enjoyed visiting,

We stopped here as it is a favorite Route 66 attraction to many. We had a great time talking to Gary Turner. It is folks like him that make the Mother Road so special. I look forward to the day that I can stop here again. The world need more people like Gary in it.

We stopped and had a nice talk with Gary about the MOTHER ROAD. He has built a great gas station replica complete with vintage trucks on the site of an original gas station. If you love history and vintage automobiles and trucks...a must stop. He was able to draw us a map, give us a 8x10 photo and encourage us to stop at other sites on the ROAD!

Stopped by here on a route 66 road trip. Very beautifully restored old service station. Whiled away about half hour talking to owner on a pleasant spring afternoon. He is a mine of great tips on places to visit further west. Very interesting collection of old motor memorabilia in the garage on site. This guy is a true character and shows obvious delight in meeting people.
