We went to the Lyceum Theatre on the advice of a friend that grew up in a town near Arrow Rock. We definitely will be returning. It makes a great day trip from Kansas City and the acting was superb. The theatre itself is an historical education and was beautifully appointed. There isn't a bad seat in the house and it is intimate enough that you really become engaged from the first moment the curtain goes up! Do yourself a favor and go! While you are there Arrow Rock itself has a lot to do and see.

What a wonderful surprise we had going to this theater. Out in the middle of nowhere in a down called Arrow Rock, population 56 you will find this gem. We went and saw the Christmas Carol which was sold out. I highly recommend this attraction.

Extremely well done. Entertaining and very tight acting. Every show is an experience. We have had tickets for years and have never seen a bad show.

We were meeting my inlaws for an afternoon show coming from different sides of the state. I had the tickets and we got tied up. The folks at the theater pulled up the tickets on their system and let my inlaws into the show so they were able to enjoy the entire production (which was very good by the way). I just felt that was going above and beyond what they had to do and I very much appreciated it! We will be returning next year I'm sure! (I'm leaving hours and hours early next time I will not be late again!) For being kind of in the middle of nowhere the entertainment was above and beyond what I expected as well.

We have always heard good things about the Lyceum Theatre in Arrow Rock, so decided it was time to give it a try. While it is not Broadway, it was worth the trip. We saw Around the World in 80 Days. This is a very difficult play for 5 actors on a single set, but they made it work. However, there was probably too much going on, and the first act was difficult to follow and hear everything because of the constant action and costume changes of the actors. The second act was much easier to follow. The theatre is a nice setting for a play with comfortable seats and a nice lobby for before the show and the intermission.

Went with some friends last night to see Spamalot at the Lyceum. I had been a few years ago to see Hairspray. I really enjoyed the performance and having lived in New York City for several years would rate it similar to a an off-Broadway show. In fact, the talent was similar to what I would expect to see on Broadway. The only big difference was the venue was a lot smaller. I'm so glad that we have this theatre in mid-Missouri.

The Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre is a gem of an entertainment venue. Intimate and personal, it is a wonderful way to enjoy live theatre and support the arts. Anyone who enjoys theatre owes it to themselves to make the drive and experience a performance at the Lyceum. This year was my eighth year of attendance, and I have never been disappointed. The productions rival or surpass any that I have seen in St Louis. Dramas, comedies and musicals have all been superb. The casting is always phenomenal. Don't just think about going; DO IT. You will be hooked, I guarantee it.

I have been to many shows and have always loved them. This time I took my son (10yrs old) and we went with a couple other adults and children. We all enjoyed the play!! We saw a Thursday matinee of Little Shop of Horrors. Wonderful production!

I love the Lyceum Theatre and the town of Arrow Rock. You get fantastic entertainment without breaking the bank. We have been many times...there is not a bad seat in the house. The performances of the actors have been superior. The professional are fantastic, and the local actors just as good. Love the new renovations. I'd choose Arrow Rock over the Fox in St. Louis or shows on Broadway. One suggestion...plan to stay in a B&B, so that you can enjoy the full experience of historic Arrow Rock.

The Lyceum performances never disappoint! The King & I was a fabulous show. The talent of the performers continue to amaze us. The Lyceum is located in Arrow Rock, MO -- a real jewel!

We've seen several productions at the Lyceum Theatre over the years. We saw "The King and I" just yesterday. There is never a disappointing show at the Lyceum! Every seat in the house is great for viewing and hearing. I'm rather short, so I do have to trade places with my husband sometimes if a tall person is seated in front of me. The staff is always outgoing and helpful; everything is friendly but professional. The performances are a real treat; if you haven't been to the Lyceum, you are missing out! My personal preference is to sit in the very back row of the theatre, in an aisle seat.

Great theatre in Mid Missouri! We saw Steel Magnolias and it was very good. Come for a day/weekend trip and catch a play while you are in Arrow Rock.

We saw the Hank Williams play today. While the play itself is a bit of a downer, the acting and singing were very good. The theater itself is great, without a bad seat
