This cozy 98 seat theater provides quality entertainment. The shows that we have attended have been done very well with talent from around the area. Looking forward to more shows. Everyone seems to know each other. Ther is als a place next door that offers refreshments during intermission.

I went to the Snug this weekend for the first time. It offers a great "in the round" theater experience. There is seating for 98, in 6 rows, and the first row is practically on the stage. The crowd is very friendly, the dress is what I would call, at best, business casual. Nice jeans and a button down are fine. There are several restaurants near by for supper before the show and during intermission you can visit the bar or coffee shop on either side. Tickets are $20. A cheap evening for dinner and a first rate show in the quaint downtown Marine City.

This small (98 seat), welcoming theatre presents plays, musicals, puppet shows for children, comedy nights and an occasional musical group. A semi-professional theatre, the actors are, for the most part, experienced performers who come from the far reaches of the metropolitan area and receive compensation for their work. Audience members have come from as far away as East Lansing, Canton, Lexington and Clarkston, but the immediate community has provided the greatest share of the support and attendance. The community offers antique shops for browsing and a range of restaurants for pre- or post-show meals. The website "thesnugtheatre.com" provides additional information about the theatre and the other community attractions, including the Sweet Tooth where home made candy and delicious ice cream are served.

Great acting for a community theatre group. Theatre itself is very small. Price was affordable. Walking distance to several restaurants in the area. We would definitely go back!

Opened this year, 98-seat, live stage theatre, quality local performers, $20 tickets. Not a bad seat in the house. You are practically on stage. Sound is good. A bit crampped with individual reserved seating. Propriators are very friendly and helpful. Actors mingle and speak with the patrons after the performance. Not Stratford but very enjoyable and affordable.
