The staff is friendly and the food is good. The team doesn't always do well but it's a fun family outing and you get what you'd expect from a ballpark.

Great Christmas light show, 1 mile long and lots of lights. Great for families with kids. I recommend this to everyone!

A clean class AA minor league baseball park. Seats are comfortable for 9 innings. Food from the concessions is outstanding but pricy. The gear shop features Grand Rapids whitecaps and the Detroit Tigers. It is a good place to watch professional baseball.

Its baseball what"s not to like.. the concourses are dark and dingy but everything else was fine. Minor league ballparks are the best bang for sports entertainment

Instead of spending a lot of cash on fancy seats for kids at a major league ball park, get lawn tickets and have a relaxed time.

My husband and I had such a great day at this ballpark! It was affordable and fun. We purchsed tickets at the ballpark the day of the game, and got GREAT seats. The weather was perfect the day we were there and it was our first time visiting Michigan. It is a family atmosphere. During one of the breaks they had little monkeys riding on the back of dogs hearding sheep. Lots of fun involving kids from the audience. So glad we visited.

We made an impromptu trip here. For $14 ea you get good seats and for single A it was good baseball. It's a minor league stadium but the food prices are major league. They had fireworks after the game.We would go again.

We attended game against the Ft. Wayne Tin Caps on the evening of 6/21/2014, and had a very nice evening. This is a beautiful little ballpark, and we had excellent seats, 6 rows behind home plate (one of the top tickets, and it was only $14 per seat, purchased very easily online), and the purchase price included a very thick program, and giveaways - we received Whitecaps T-shirts, and on the way out, a loaf of Sara Lee bread. During the game various size TVs were given away - free. There was a good-sized crowd, and they were very enthusiastic, but not out of hand at all - it was a great family atmosphere (and how else can you see professional baseball with your family anymore, with prices the way they are at major league parks). The usual vendors were present, but there was also a great variety of concession stands, with plenty of food choices at reasonable prices. The quality of the baseball was really quite good, as the Whitecaps are the "A" level of the Detroit Tigers minor league system, and many of the players on the roster were early round picks of the Tigers from last year's draft - the Tigers of the future! The Whitecaps seem to be all about giving you a good evening of entertainment, both with the game itself, and with the activities surrounding the game. There was always something going on in between innings, and even in the middle of innings, races, or giveaways, or even monkeys riding on pigs herding sheep (LOL). It was definitely a fun evening, very happy that we went, and would go again if in this part of the state again.

I've been to Fifth Third Ballpark on two different occasions and both times were great! The ball park is kept very clean (including restrooms) and the staff are always friendly and helpful. On a regular night, prices aren't bad but if you go on one of thrifty nights, you can save more! Highly recommend to anyone in the western part of Michigan!

I love seeing a Whitecaps game a few times a year with my son at Fifth Third Ballpark. Its pretty busy but you can get tickets at the gate at a descent price. Great seats all around. The food is a tad pricey for me but still, a good way to spend the day. AND DONT FORGET THE WORLD FAMOUS FIFTH THIRD BURGER!!!!!

Doesn't matter if you're a die hard baseball fan or just a causal fan out with family, this is the place you want to be. Even if you're not a fan of baseball but love great food then give a night out here a shot. If anything get some cheap lawn seats, take in some great food and enjoy the atmosphere. If you have some young kids in your group then they will love all the actives going on throughout the game along with collecting autographs before the game. As long as they keep up the great food and low prices then I'll keep on coming!!!!

If you love baseball, this is a great place to watch a game. These minor league players play just as hard as the majors and the games are just as good. Seating is comfortable and you are close to the action. The ballpark offers all the good stuff like any major league park. The food is great and all the typical ballgame beverages are here. Lots of entertainment between innings too.Lawn seating is also available and tickets are inexpensive. If you are in G.R. for a visit and have time, you have to go to a Whitecaps ballgame.

From the parking to the baseball, a great place to watch a game. Yes, it is not MLB, but the Whitecaps play just as hard, if not harder. Easy online ticketing, plenty of direction for parking and great food prices made this a great experience.
