Very cozy, beautiful and unique winery. (And the wine is great) I recommend getting the tour. Lorenzo was very gracious, interesting and really knows his stuff.

We decided to try out this winery and were very thankful. The owner is a commercial pilot and is able to fly to Europe and visit many wineries. He has amassed much expertise and knowledge in his travels and has put it to great use. The wines are very good, the wine tasting is fascinating as he shares his experiences, the actual winery is great (even has some of his planes in it. Go and have fun

Aeronatique winery has only been in business 5 years and they are buying their grapes from S.E. Michigan producers. Nonetheless, the wine tasting room, which is located on the grounds of the airfield in Rives Junction/Jackson is very attractive and has a small wood deck area for enjoyment of tasting choices. This small winery has just won a number of gold and silver medals at the 2014 Michigan Wine Competition: try the Reisling and the Syrah. I think you'll agree that the medals for these wines are well deserved. Aeronatique also has an Ice Wine, which also medaled; however, I prefer Ice Wines with a bit more viscous, honey flavor than Aeronatique's bottling. Owner and wine maker are doing a lot of excellent things here. Give it a try!

Did the Pioneer Wine Trail tour which includes 8 wineries. A very pleasant winery to visit. They have both red and white, sweet, semi-sweet and dry wines. North of Jackson.

Excellent wine and extremely hospitable owner and staff! Beautiful setting in an 'airplane community'. Let the owner show you around, he's very passionate about flying and wine! I could spend all day here. For $5 you get a very nice wine glass and samples of all their amazing wines. You won't regret stopping in!
