There was eight of us in our party. Three people tried the beer and the rest tried the wines and none of us liked any. The food and service were excellent and we had fun but just not our taste in wine or beer. It's in a beautiful spot with some actuall vineyard around. Probably won't go back or recommend since I didn't like the wine.

Fun little stop. Really enjoyed the conversation with the owner! Will definitely try to catch one of the candlelight dinner nights soon.

Stopped here while doing the Pioneer Wine Trail which covers 8 Michigan wineries. They had nine wines available. My wife liked their "Puppy L.O.V.E." semi-dry wine. They also had 5 beers. Ozzy their dog greeted us and was a very good host. A nice feature was a deck where you can sit and enjoy your wine tasting.

This winery has a very personal feel to it. The vines are even in front of the parking lot. They have a dog who loves to play catch which is always fun. The wines are awesome, and they have a decent if not adequate selection. They are also within 10 miles of other wineries which is a plus.

Lone Oak Vineyard Estates (LOVE) is a winery that has an excellent raspberry dessert wine. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. They have some special events like dinner concerts and chocolate and wine pairings that are a lot of fun. My wife and I have enjoyed our experiences at LOVE.

Not impressed with the tasting room or the offerings; mostly because this place doesn't hold a candle to Sandhill Crane which is on the north side of I-94. The Pioneer Wine Trail in MI is chock full of great winerys, unfortunately, when we visited Lone Oak, they weren't one of the good ones.

Wine is excellent. Atmosphere is quaint with friendly service. Patient wait staff willing to share their wine knowledge.
