This is my favorite golf course in the Lansing area. I have taken numerous people to this course. Without exception, they stand on the first tee and say, "I can't believe I am in Lansing." The course is visually beautiful, with elevation changes and trees. It is very well maintained. Good shots are rewarded. Bad shots are not fatal, as long as you stay out of the water. The pro shop is small but adequate. Same holds for the snack shop/grill.

held my daughters wedding reception here, couldn't be happier. The place is beautiful, food is awesome, and staff are friendly, and went out of the way to help and five us exactly what we wanted. And the cost was half of what we looked at else where. BIG THANKS too NICK he was awesome from setup to tear down, what an awesome employee!!!!!!

If my golf buddies were willing, I would only play here. 18 unique and challenging holes and a lot of natural beauty. The beer is good too.

This is my favorite course in the Lansing area. Different golfers like different types of courses though.Tall pines dominate the sides of the fairways. The course is well groomed with decent elevation changes. Not a lot of water holes. The best part of the course is the fact that it is quiet. No roads running along the course. Very nature centered. Animals, etc

Golfed here 6/16/13. While the course was in good shape, the other aspects of the outing were less than enjoyable. For example, we paid for two carts but only one GPS worked. When we asked about this on the first tee, we were told that only half of the systems worked even though we paid for it. Second, this was a Sunday afternoon. There were no Marshalls on the course. As a result, play was very slow to the extent we were waiting on average over 5 minutes at each tee box with multiple groups at tees waiting to play. For the money, not worth it. College Fields is just as nice and less expensive.

This 18-hole gem is fun to play. There are numerous elevation changes, narrow fairways and lots of rough and woods to lose balls in. This is an up-state course in the Lansing area. The staff is usually very good. Played in a league here and our dinners were alway excellent. I look forward to playing here. Worth going out of your way to play this course.

A bit of a drive for us but we enjoy playing here. The layout is nice and the course is in good shape.

Narrow fairways, elevational changes. Greens could have been better, but had a great time

My sister used their facility for her wedding reception and the food was wonderful and the staff were excellent.

Timber Ridge has the feel of a northern Michigan golf course. Very challenging course. Love the layout. The service is the only thing lacking at Timber Ridge. They need a ranger to speed up play, and it usually takes forever to get drinks in the club house. They usually do not have a beverage cart.

I've played golf for over 30 years and keep coming back to Timber Ridge for the natural beauty, thousands of tall pines and spruce trees and the playability of this course. There are more expensive courses nearby that have prettier flowers, but if you're with the guys and want the best value in golf, Timber Ridge is the place to play. On many holes if you miss the fairway, it remains easy to punch out of the pine straw and avoid the penalty stroke. There is some water on 6 of the holes that are a thrill to navigate for the average golfer.
