Oh, this place is gorgeous. If you are looking for a spot to take some breathtaking family photos and do some excellent chocolate tasting, this is it! I believe they were also featured on The Food network in 2000 but stop in and ask them for yourself as they are cheerful and happy to speak with customers.

The selection gets better all the time. If you are a chocolate aficionado, you will love these chocolates.

If you love chocolate then you must try this quant little shop once if you drive through Coloma. On my trips to and from Chicago,I stop and treat myself to a few hand made truffles. Are they cheap,no! Are they worth the cost? It is all subjective. We get some for Christmas as a special dessert every few years. Really,it began for me out of curiosity, I heard about this place on the Food Network and decided to check it. In my opinion, it is worth my time to stop in and have a chocolate, then carry on with my drive.

The Chocolate Garden in itself is very cute and in a quaint area but the name is misleading. All it sells are truffles and odds and ends. I was expecting all kinds of chocolate edibles including chocolate covered nuts, crèmes, etc. It is nothing like that. It only sells truffles. Nothing more, nothing less. I bought some as gifts for others. Some liked them while others found them to be nothing special. I don't think I will visit them again until they get more variety.

We happened upon the Chocolate Garden by accident after seeing a sign along the highway. The prices are pretty high, but the chocolate is superb! I love that the truffles don't have a hard coating on the outside and some of the flavors were very unique. Wish we lived closer!

The truffles are absolutely delicious. The garden was very beautiful, too. It is a great stop in between visiting the vineyards. Some of my favorite truffles I tried were Dark Chocolate Coffee Bean, Cayenne Kick, Solera Double Gold, Lago Rosso Red Wine, and Dark Chocolate Orange, If you love chocolate, this place is a must stop. Very decadent.

Been here a couple times, and being an amateur chocolatier, their quality is absolutely the very best! Will return again and again. Love the Lemon Truffle!

What a delight, on the way to a wedding, decided to follow the signs along the interstate, Discovering this place was the best part of our trip to Kalamazoo. Great chocolate truffles, and super delicious hot Chocolates. I tried all three!yum yum..

We had a good experience at the Chocolate Garden. It's adorable and has quite the selection. We started out with the tasting, which was a little disorganized as far as space goes, but the workers got the samples out fast and efficient. The chocolates are beautiful and DELICIOUS! Do yourself a favor and stop there one day.

Very good truffles and great selection of flavors. However at around $3 each they can be pretty pricey. Make sure you are willing to spend a little before you go - otherwise it may be too hard to resist!

I grew up not far from Coloma, but had never stopped at the Chocolate Garden. I always saw the signs, but didn't have time. I finally moved away, and was taking my boyfriend back "home". We had driven a lot the day before, and spent the day with my grandmother. We had a reservation for a hot tub at 10, and we wanted to eat before then. The boyfriend was so tired of being in the car, he looked at me and said, "We are not stopping for anything, I don't care."About a a minute, minute and a half later we saw the first sign for the chocolate garden. He was quiet, and I saw him get his phone out (I was driving). He googled something, then looked up at me with this very earnest face, "Except for that. We are stopping for that. The exit is coming up, and they are open for another 45 minutes."So, we got off the road and stopped at the Chocolate Garden. The staff was super friendly, and their tasting bar was very helpful. We both did that, and they offered to let us taste together. So we each picked 3 (a normal tasting is for 3), and they split the sample in half so that we each got to try 6. All of it was good. The only complaint I have is that you can't set-up your own box with what you liked, and getting the duos of everything you want can be cost prohibitive. I think that the chocolate was very worth the price, but I didn't want to spend $100 that day! We ended up getting the 16 piece sampler box, and a few duos that we each individually liked best. We (unfortunately) managed to melt them a little on the trek home, but so tasty. Worth the stop if you have time!

My husband and I were visiting the area and stopped by to sample the "chocolates" that I had heard were so yummy. I loved that families were there and did a "tasting". For $2.99 a person you could sample three truffles. They cut about a fourth of a truffle on a toothpick and put them on little plates. We enjoyed the tasting...kind of fun, but we left without buying any. They only have truffles and we had just visited Vinyard Chocolates and enjoyed that a bit more. I would say that the Dark Chocolate/Orange Truffle and the Salt and Pepper Truffle were really yummy!

Stopped at the Chocolate Garden envisioning nothing but all sorts of wonderful chocolate treats. nope.... Only truffles. I did buy some at almost 12 bucks for 4. They were pretty good, but I wouldn't have stopped had I known they were just Truffles. I have been to some wonderful sweet shops around the US and this didn't come close. It was just OK.

My daughter and I did 2 tastings each, for $2.99 each. Well worth it! That was all we needed, to try the legendary truffles! It was fun to pick some unusual flavors we would normally not try. I loved the chocolate rose. We also had the drinking chocolate, which was incredibly sweet. I was glad my daughter and I shared it, too bad it wasn't a shot, that would have been enough...but it was still delicious and I would stop by again for a treat!
