I love a good stroll on a beach - well kept up -- we enjoyed the boardwalk and gorgeous views - parking was very easy - a beautiful and peaceful place

We stopped here out of curiosity and found this beautiful beach. The beach is big with plenty of room so you don't feel like others are invading your space. The walkways are in great condition and there are several leading up the dunes. The snack bar has huge windows facing the beach for a great view. The employee at the snack bar was friendly and patient as my boys were having difficulty deciding on which ice cream treat they wanted. We appreciated having restrooms available. They were a little dated but clean. We stopped at 4 different beaches along Lake Michigan and this was by far our favorite.

Some friends and I visited this beautiful, clean beach this past weekend (8/10/14). The main problem with our visit was the black biting flies that wouldn't leave us alone. These flies only seem to be a problem for a short period every year, so it is a good idea to check if they are a problem before visiting. The staff for parking and concessions were not very polite. We bought a day parking pass. I checked with the person at the booth about whether I would be able to come back if I left the beach and she said I would. When I returned, she told me that the parking had filled up and I wouldn't be able to park and would have to park in town and walk back in. I asked that I be let back in or be given a refund. Eventually, I was allowed back in and found that there were parking spaces available.

I'd heard of Weko Beach Park on line but never been there until recently. A local suggested it. Glad she did. Clean, large enough so you don't feel cramped but small enough that you aren't walking forever between the beach and the car park. Also pretty reasonable parking rate when compared to either Warren Dunes or to the New Buffalo city beach.

This was a beautiful beach to visit! The sand was great; the facilities were clean. It was well worth the $7 to get in. Highly recommended!

We live about 50 miles away from Bridgman, every year we go to Warren Dunes but after hearing about Weko we had to check it out! The beach is beautiful! It looks like the campsites are very nice too. My kids were slightly disappointed that you couldn't run up the dunes, but they have wooden stairs and walkways going up the dunes. But we made it a challenge and did 100s of stairs (I lost count!) It was a great workout. There is a small cafe with plenty of seating, it looked like they had quite a few food options and ice cream treats. The bathroom facilties were quite large, not very clean but much better than any state park we've been to. Since this isn't a state park you do have to pay the daily fee which is $7 for those not residing in that county. While the beach was very pretty, it was very rocky. If we go back, we would definitely bring water shoes cause those rocks hurt! Otherwise, enjoy and plan on spending the day here if you go!

been coming here for years and like its community feel. Would like it even better if they banned smoking. Smokers feel entitled to leave theirs butts all over in the sand. $7 day visit. $40 for season pass unless you live in same county then its $5--an excellent value.

Have been to Weko Beach several times and have never been disappointed. Clean beach with a convenient cafe offered. They have a wine fest every year that is totally affordable and a great time. Not to mention, they have a campground just steps from the beach! Talk about convenience. If you're traveling from Illinois/Indiana area, it's a close, quick trip, that can even be just for the day. Definitely recommend.

This has come to be a favorite beach dash for my family. We just pack it up after work and head to the beach. The kids always ask to bring friends along.I recommend sandals or water shoes as the beach has a rocky waters' edge. Facilities are convenient but typical public facility. There is a concession/restaurant upstairs with a hall that is rented for parties. We saw a wedding on the beach recently that was well done.Sunsets here are fantastic and the boardwalks protect the upper beach from wear and tear.

I live near here and frequent it often. The beach is beautiful. It has a boat ramp, campground for tents, or RV's and small cabins you can rent. There is a large beach house with a wrap around deck overlooking the lake. Inside is a cafe with cappuccino, burgers sandwiches and a few salads. They also sell souvenirs sweatshirts etc. Stairs lead you to the top of the dunes where the view is even better! It is also the host of the Lake Michigan's 9th annual Wine Festival on June 21, 2014. It will have local Wineries and Bands all on the shore of the lake!! Well worth the trip!!!

Weko Beach is Bridgman Michigan's public beach. It has a boat ramp, a beach house that serves food, a boardwalk, and concerts during summer weekends, as well as a campground. Special events are also held here, such as the Brewers' Fest. This is a busy and popular place, but worth the visit.

We've been visiting Weko Beach for the past 10 years and I haven't had a single poor experience. It's quiet and perfect for those days that you want tranquility and calm. The beach itself is kept tidy and clean with nice restroom facilities and a beach restaurant. The parking lot can fill up quickly, so arrive early. Warren Dune's is to the south and Silver Beach is farther up north. Weko Beach is a quick 40 minute drive from our house which makes is that much more attractive.

We locals know to head to Weko Beach for a gorgeous, uncrowded experience. The dunes aren't as large as Warren's, so if you would rather not wait in line for entrance, and find a family friendly pretty beach, head to Weko in Bridgman.
