I spent an afternoon walking through this park with my sister and we had a blast with the art and taking pictures of everything. It is quite a hike uphill and back downhill so make sure to wear proper shoes and clothing.

Beautiful hike up & down wooded hills with art along the way. The art work depicts the history of Michigan. There are over 40 sculptures to view and enjoy and learn from. On Friday evenings in August there are concerts in the amphitheater . People are encouraged to bring a picnic supper and enjoy the music under the canopy of tall trees.

This is a must-see if you are at/near Crystal Mntn. Resort. Educational and enjoyable, all-Michigan sculpture pieces in a beautiful hilly/wooded setting. Appeals to children and adults.

The Art Park is a perfect walk in the morning. It has some rolling terrain through the woods of Crystal Mountain Resort. Along the way are some very interesting art with some ties to Michigan. It will probably take you a hour for the shorter route. Wear some closed toes shoes. Kids will especially like the fort with the maze.

The Art Park provided a very good hike (fairly strenuous as there is a lot of up and down) mixed with a lot to see and experience. The art is very interesting and thought provoking and I loved the way it just "appears" within the context of a natural setting.

This is a real gem: you can hike, learn about Michigan's history and enjoy outdoor sculpture garden. Great place to take kids, too.

An interesting way to combine art and hiking through the woods. We enjoyed it. Took about 45 minutes to walk. Some minor hills. Took some wrong turns due to bad signage. You are deep in woods so bug spray and a hat a must. It is free to guest of Crystal Mountain Resort.

We stopped here on the way to Sleeping Bear Dunes. The admission charge is $5 per adult (cash only) and you just drop the money in a green pipe near the trailhead. The trail is about 1.5 miles or so through the woods and is very hilly. The artwork is spread out along the trail. Be sure to stop and read the descriptions of each piece. You need to wear tennis shoes and use bug spray, as there were a lot of mosquitos and flies in the woods.

interesting art installations in the woods, just be sure to take your bug spray though. A nice way to spend an hour

Took a walk there during the Fall. It was so peaceful and beautiful!! The art is amazing and touched on different types. I was so impressed!!

We enjoyed the trail far more than the art. I won't profess to being an afficionado of sculptures, but know what I like...much of this just seemed odd. Points for the effort though, and combining art in this manner with exercise on a trail is a nice idea. Just wish it had been better executed.

I loved seeing the art and reading about each piece. The hiking trail had lots of small hills. It took us 90 min. Loved it. Very neat thing to do and see

This 'gem' on the grounds of Crystal Mountain Resort is a beautiful example of Michigan's talented residents. Several sculptures line the 1 1/2 mile path through a natural setting. The art pieces tell the history of Michigan and grace the landscape most exquisitely. You should use one of the natural walking sticks provided at the main entrance and do not forget the Off!

This is a must see if you are in northwest Michigan. The park has a number of original art pieces that reflect Michigan history. The park is on a hillside overlooking one of Crystal Mountain Resort's golf courses. The art is placed throughout this heavily wooded park. Great fun for the entire family and you will get a workout to boot. At the top of the hill is a fort maze that the kids will love. Look for the weekly music concerts among the trees during the summer.

The setting, the art,the trail were a pleasant surprise. Michigan themed art made it unique. Easy to stroll.
