Clean restrooms, friendly staff in all areas. Food is overpriced - but this was not unexpected. Eat before you come. Once you're seated, getting back up is somewhat inconvenient, but that's arena seating.

Went last night to see the basketball game. Pistons against Knicks. Security personal, ushers, concession stands workers, all were very pleasant and helpful. I was mostly cheering for Pistons, but also for Knicks a little bit, it was an entertaining game to watch. I did like the fact that even though it was a home game for Pistons, ushers and fans were still friendly even when I cheered for Knicks. So it wasn't any hostility and environment was friendly. Parking was $10 and it was easy to park. We enjoyed the Palace of Auburn Hills and will go to another game when in the area.

Unless you are very small in size, be sure to read this. I can't emphasize enough how bad the seats are here. I sat in section 125, row k, so we had pretty good seats. But I am 6'0" and only 185 lbs but I couldn't fit into their incredibly narrow seats. I watched the entire Pistons game with my arms in front of me, not being able to move at all. I am stunned they could expect people to sit in these uncomfortable seats, if you are a kid you will be fine, otherwise you're going to be miserable.

We were able to attend a Pistons game and have a tour of the Palace. This was for the first Homeschool night special. There were over 300 in attendance. The tour was very nice and the game was fun.

Very entertaining night here @ The Palace of Auburn Hills. The Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful during the game to keep you entertained. Halftime entertainment was awesome with B.O.B. as our halftime entertainment, and in between timeouts very fun and entertaining game. Recommended highly to any family on a budget.

Easy to find the venue, even at night, and to park the car; better yet, excellent traffic control/directions for leaving after the event.

It's clean, there is lots of parking, and it's relatively easy to get in and out compared to other Detroit venues. Been to concerts, graduations, and sporting events here - no complaints about safety or cleanliness.

We were in Detroit from Mississauga for the auto show and decided we would go see a Piston's game. While we are not a fan of either the Pistons or the 76's we thought it would be fun to see a game in Detroit. It was great! The in stadium announcer is awesome. His passion for the team comes through and had you on your feet. The stadium was clean and well organized. The concessions had a great selection of items and the food was both warm and good. Traffic control was good and there was ample parking.

Go see a Pistons game and look for the security guy at dance cam.dont forget to get some buffalo wings inside the gim

Palace has been remodeled and updated since my last visit. Seats we had were great. Concession prices are like most pro-sporting arenas......too high for the average person.

December 27, 3:00 performance of the Trans Siberian Orchestra.*Per the tickets, and multiple points of advertisement by The Palace, doors were to open at 1:30. When my family arrived at about 2:15, we entered the venue, which did not seem crowded, passed through the ticket entry point with no wait, and elected to use the elevator for the ease of another family member.Once in the elevator, the attendant warned us, "The concourse is a little crowded." As the doors opened, there a sea of people barely able to move, and it took nearly five minutes for the attendant to get people shifted enough for us to be able to wiggle out of the elevator onto the floor. It was like being crammed into a sardine can. You could not NOT touch the people beside you. They were not allowing people into the stadium, but there was no one from The Palace telling anyone anything about what was going on.Because it was a TSO concert, there were many children in attendance, and many I saw looked terrified in that mess.A woman beside me managed to pull her phone out of her coat, managing to only elbow two people in the process, and called The Palace to find out what was going on. The Palace stated they had no estimated time as to when they would let anyone in, and that was at 2:50. We were finally allowed to go to our seats at about 2:55, and the show didn't end up starting until roughly 3:40.I can understand delays happening. It happens. What is not understandable or acceptable is the way The Palace handled whatever the delay may have been. The Palace had no concern for the safety of its guests. While the stadium is able to accommodate x-number of people safely, cramming that many people into the concourse to the point people could not move (or barely move) is dangerous. Knowing there was no where to put people, The Palace should have stopped allowing people through until the situation was resolved. Better to have frustrated people in the lobbies and outdoors than risk harm to your guests the way The Palace did.Facebook became a vehicle of complaint from ticketholders, and The Palace's Facebook administrator left comments for those people to send the page a private message with their contact information because their guest relations team wanted to follow up with them regarding the experience.I provided my contact information immediately (December 28th) and have not been contacted by The Palace.We had been to The Palace for a few other performances in the past, but it seems the obligation for safety is not a priority for The Palace of Auburn Hills.

I've been to the palace twice before.. Once in a hay-day of the great Pistons championships of 2003, and most recently as a fan of the Raptors in a pistons vs raptors match up.. Both were a really great time. The in game announcer is one of the best in the league. Makes the game more entertaining for the casual sports fan. What I didn't like is the lack of beer service later in games, and the in seat service was absolutely awful.

The new Palace is awesome place, presents itself well and easy to navigate. Almost not a bad seat in the place location wise and with the jumbo screen there isn't a bad seat in reality! Great place for games and shows!

Went to a Pistons/Bucks game with my son last weekend. I have never seen such friendly people in my life from the parking lot attendants, security and to the ticket takers. We walked by at least 6 employees in the parking lot and each of them sincerely said "Have a great time tonight". The parking lot is very accessible and they have people directing traffic after the game. We felt very safe and will probably come back.

Not great... not bad.... just another arena concert... been here many times and unless you manage to get on line for a pre sale and quickly get seats on either side of the stage... you'll binoculars... and that's no fun
