This little winery in the countryside just south of Harrisburg has a couple of decent wines. The young lady taking care of the tasting bar was friendly though not too knowledgeable. The tasting room is basically a garage converted to that purpose. However, if you're going to have a tasting room that welcomes visitors, and special wine tasting events with bands and food, we think you should build a real permanent bathroom and not just stick a porta-potty in the parking lot. We won't go back to this winery until they do a little upgrading.

Not exactly what I was expecting. I was expecting to see the rows and rows of grapes on the vine. When you pull up the driveway, it felt like you were entering someone private property. There is small house and a patio. However, the wines were great. The Celebration Blush was my fav. The service was great but I don't think I'd return.

Looked like someone's garage but when you went inside it was a beautifully decorated albeit small tasting room. They have very good fruit and port wines. All the workers there gave us personal attention and were knowledgeable, definitely a must stop on this wine trail.

During a wine tour this weekend we made a stop here it is off the beaten path and in a house but the wine is different and very good. The staff is very helpful and fun. The atmosphere is very laid back definitely worth the stop.

This place hasn't much 'curb appeal'. At first I thought I was pulling into a private driveway. The tasting room is next to a residence and the owner's dog was barking at us all the way to the door. Tastings are free for up to 4. Taste 8 for 2 bucks. But the choices are limited and all grapes are brought in from NY or CA. Processing and bottling is done on the property. Our tasing guide was quite nice and knowledgeable. If you do the Harrisburg or Mason wine tours, it's worth a stop. We left with a bottle of red and their blue diamond (port).

If you love wine, good service and a casual atmosphere, this is the winery for you in Central PA! Unique wines, right along side your favorite traditionals. Brenda took the time to explain every feature of each wine we sampled (4 for free or 8 for $2.00 with additional charge for premium wine, reimbursed after purchase) with enthusiasm and knowledge. Nice sized deck/patio area with tables for relaxing. We brought some cheese and goodies and relaxed for a few hours. A+ for service A+ for product knowledge and A+ for product! Give this place a try! Nice little gift shop also in the tasting room!

We visited here as part of the Hershey/Harrisburg Wine Festival. The wines that were on the tasting menu that day were ok. We did not buy a bottle but I would definitely go back and give it another try. The tasting room was tiny but that was ok because there weren't many people there when we arrived. If they had been busy, it would have been very tight in there.

My husband and I both love Hummingbird Ridge Winery and not just because it is a short drive from our house! They have free wine tastings, a nice variety of wine from sweet to dry, charming deck parties in the summer, and a great PORT wine that is my favorite!!! Don't drive by, stop in and check them out!

This a casual afternoon(1-4 PM) with smaller crowds and more intimate feel and the music was good.

We were visiting the Harrisburg and York areas of Central Pennsylvania with friends and they took us to Hummingbird Ridge winery. They were having a Jimmy Buffett themed deck party with a musician playing Buffett songs. You can try all the wines for free. They have a variety of dry and sweet wines and they were all surprisingly good. On the down side, there was some construction going on, but we still had fun sitting on the deck sipping wine and listening to the music. it was a nice way to spend an afternoon and i would recommend it to anyone who is traveling in the central Pennsylvania area.
