People have been enjoying this scenic view of the Susquehanna since prehistoric native American times. Right off Rt. 6 West, gorgeous view of the river and surrounding farms and hills

Wow-- this was a beautiful scenic overlook! We were there in mid-October, and the Susquehanna River winding through the fall foliage and farmlands was just gorgeous! A must-see if you love beautiful scenery.

These rocks are beautiful for taking a picnic lunch or just stopping for some time of reflection. You must park at the pull off and take a short walk to them.

Stop at the Wyalusing Rocks for a great view; see the Susquehanna River 500 feet below. In the evening, the sunset is the best ever if you like the mountains in Pennsylvania. If you are traveling Route 6, it will be worth the stop.

I like to stop here to see the river which looks different daily. It's free, has no amenities, and there are hiking paths. The view and vantage point at the river's bend are amazing.

There are two scenic overlooks between Wysox and Wyalusing. The first one, as you drive south, has been revamped, and looks much better. The second one has several little trails one can follow--though you might not want to have small children get close to the edge!

I grew up only 20 miles from this beautiful view and never tire of stopping there when I pass by. The view is spectacular and one can imagine early settlers and Native Americans looking at the same view. There used to be a restaurant across the road, since long gone, but just sitting on the wall or taking a short walk out to a better viewpoint is rewarding. Any season is beautiful,

We always stop on our way through, We like to see what the Native Americans would have seen, also General Sullivan

Go in the spring or fall with fall being the best. This spot looks down over the Susquehanna River in the Endless Mountains as the backdrop.

This would be an amazing place if it were made a scenic attraction. Many years ago there was a restaurant. Now although the view is magnificent and in the Fall breathtaking, it is otherwise somewhat of a dumpy rest stop with a crumbly lookout. It could be so much more. Still worth the drive to see

The panorama seems to change minute by minute. One never tires of looking at the river, the clouds and the farms and small towns what are a way of life here. The overlook itself is clean and well maintained. Do stop by and spend time enjoying nature's wonders.

great vista overlooking Susquehanna River. Indian overlook once a highly sought out vacation spot

The views are amazing. It's like you're in the sky. There are birds swooping around you. There is no safety rail, though.

Easy to find. It's a parking area along Route 6 and worth the stop on a clear day.

Lovely drive through this area with areas like this to stop and see beautiful scenery
