I went on a solo bridge tour, mostly to kill time before a wedding, but also because bridges are awesome. This one was wonderful, especially with a little snow sprinkled on top.

1 of 14 covered wooden bridges in Bucks County. Our Wedgwood Inn (New Hope) innkeeper gaves us a self-drive map of Central and Upper Bucks County. We only saw 4: more next visit! Bring a picnic lunch and explore the back roads just outside of New Hope!

There is something about walking through a covered bridge that is soothing . We were driving by from Peddlers village and happened to see the sign to the bridge right of the road . We parked and walked around for awhile and only saw one person . Very relaxing .

It's especially beautiful in the fall. A quiet and tranquil place to visit. It's a very meaningful place to me because my maiden name is Loux .

Ndamed after a distant Uncle who built the bridge. All the covered brides in Bucks County, PA are historic and interesting
