My family visited the pretzel factory on our way home from Promiseland State Park. It was fun to watch the pretzels being made. So many different styles and flavors of fresh-baked pretzels. It was hard to decide what we wanted to take home.

I did not try their soft pretzels because they were just sitting around in a case. Not fresh. Their caramel corn was artificially colored and flavored. Prices ok. Not the best deals. I bought a bag of "everything" pretzels and they were terrible. I doubt I will go back. Parking is very limited.

Such a fun little local place. We enjoyed the pretzel making demo. The young man who runs the place is very friendly. We spent a fortune on these fun and delicious pretzels!

Loved my visit here, bought pretzels and popcorn that was to die for. They even showed a video of how the pretzels are made.

Great variety and decent prices! You can even watch how pretzels are made, pretty interesting. My only gripe is the line to pay was a little unorganized. Although it could have been a result of the groups of people that visit they are rather ill mannered.

Fun place to stop. Our favorite is the soft pretzel dipped in Callie's fabulous milk chocolate. They also sell chocolate covered popcorn..... yum, yum, yum!

We have gone to Callie's over the last 15 or so years on vacation. They offer a wide variety of pretzels and candies from their other store. They provide samples of their different types of pretzels (hard and soft) up front and if you are lucky you can see them actually making the pretzels. We usually get lunch from here at least one day during the week. They have a lot of options for lunch including cream cheese stuffed pretzel, pizza pretzel, hot dog wrapped pretzel, etc. A great place to spend a little time in while on vacation.

Delicious, fresh pretzels for over 28 years. They make hard and soft pretzels on-site in a variety of flavors like apple cinnamon, bacon cheese, cinnamon sugar, everything (like a bagel) and even the classic salt. If you get a fresh pretzel, you'll be asked "would you like that warmed?" Get it warmed. It's so much better warmed. The apple cinnamon was a stuffed pretzel, so there was apple and cinnamon filling. Visitors can watch a brief video about how they make pretzels along with viewing a live assembly line. When we visited, they were making everything pretzels. Kids can practice making pretzel shapes, too. The only thing missing for adults is the beer.If pretzels and popcorn don't suit your tastes, have left handed items and souvenirs. It's just like visiting Ned Flander's Leftorium.

Tie this stop in with Callies Candy Kitchen and you've been to the best places in the Poconos. Every pretzel is made on the premises and all are outstanding. A special lunch treat is a filled (apple, cream cheese, jalapino, pizza, etc.) pretzel. Callie's family and staff are wonderful!

About a 15 minute drive from Mount Airy Casino in the Pennsylvania Poconos, Callie's Pretzel Factory is the Eldorado of Pretzel Goodness. Gourmet, Pricey, Unique but very tasty. Soft or hard pretzels, honey mustard, jalepena, hot buffalo wings, cheddar, cinnamon sugar, pepperoni and more that I can not remember. Throw in some gourmet potato chips and popcorn and you could spend an hour trying to figure out which you like more. Free samples may help you decide. Of course there is the mixed bag. All the varieties are housed in a home turned store. The sales people are helpful and friendly. It's wheelchair accessible and the parking is easy on a big lot. They have a quirky gift shop with items just for lefties. I'm a righty with no lefty friends. Also they have a little walk through which allows you to see how the pretzels are made. About three miles apart on the same road is Callie's Candy Kitchen with chocolate treats and more. They have some candy items in the pretzel factory and the candy kitchen has some pretzel items for sale. Honey wheat pretzel sticks are $3.75 a pound. Most of the other pretzels are $5 for 15 ounces. I told you they are gourmet but they are tasty. It's a fun side trip from the casino and worth the 15 minute drive.
