First of all, it's great that the county provides facilities for people to bring their dogs. Both parks have large fenced areas that support a lot of dogs and a lot of space to run and play. Both seem to be fairly well kept, considering its a county run park. The one near the skating rink has been closed, however, for quite some time and I don't know what they are planning to do with it. It has a nice covered pavilion where you can sit in the shade while the dogs burn off that excess energy. It had two fenced areas - one for large dogs and one for smaller dogs, Both are sloped quite severely as they are on a steep hillside. A functioning pump for water is provided along with lots of poo bags. If only everyone would use them...The one near the tennis courts is always well attended and provides plenty of room. Parking here can be a problem since there isn't a lot of it. Still a good option though if you're looking to socialize your pup and let him get some exercise.
