Very little to see .one large fish tank with local fish in it. Some hands on exhibits.but all in all it probably won't hold the kids attention for long.

A worthwhile stop if you have some time to spare. Several hands-on exhibits and displays, tanks of live fish, and a view of the reservoir. We visited on a weekday in August and didn't see a single employee. But the price is right (free) for an educational experience. Worth stopping if you are in the area, but probably not worth driving too far out of the way to see. May be more interesting if there are programs happen (I’m not sure whether they do programs here or not). Don’t expect to get up close and person with the hatchery fish, biosecurity rules won’t allow that to happen.

Nice display of educational games on the types of fish found in Western PA, snakes, & turtles. Great view of small fish species in aquariums upstairs, a cyclical tank that is open upstairs and continues downstairs into the actual hatchery where you can watch the work in progress and check out the fish up close. There are cliff swallow nests & birds in flight outside of the building that you can see from the inside as well. Outside grounds of the hatchery are beautiful and housed muskellunge. Heard bull frogs and saw a black rat snake into the lake while making the hike around the grounds. Would definitely go back!

The two story high fish tank with window portholes for viewing offered the grandchildren a lesson in how fish live and swim. And, the hatchery troughs showed the baby fish in great masses. A fun family outing!

Right down the street from the spillway.. really neat place to check out to see all the various fish in the area up close! Explanations of each of the species. Hatchery is on beautiful grounds. This is one of the stops we always take newbies to the Pymatuning lake area to check out.

We visited on a Friday morning in July. The visitor's center had a nice big tank to see some fish, but that was about all we were able to see. We walked the grounds, but could only see ponds with water recirculating in them. The water was too murky to see any fish.Nice bathroom facilities...but otherwise not much to see. I wouldn't recommend this.
