我以为十月中旬的时候树叶已经都变成金黄的了,但显然今年会晚一些。和夏天来的时候区别不大,只是小孩子坐的火车稍显不同。去了餐厅,花了62元买了两个冰激凌,漫天要价。几个周我们还会再来参加菊花节的。

最近花了3个小时逛了花园,觉得很惬意。花园里费城市区大约45分钟的车程,比较好找。如果用GPS的话,先上网找好地点吧,然后选择附近的地址,导航不识别花园的地址。不用事先预约去的。不过餐厅要排队,食物很好吃的。

以前每次有亲戚从希腊来,我和家里人总要带他们到长木花园走走。几乎每个夏天都要来一次。喷泉和花园总让我时刻惦念,除此之外其他记忆就不多了。这个夏天是我十年来的再次回归。我听说灯会已经筹办起来了,然后就疯狂地想来看看,所以呢……告诉男友要带他去一个神秘的地方,但没有告诉他在哪儿,怕他不喜欢看花,哈哈。我警告他在看到之前不许妄加判断。结果,我俩都给迷住了。花园和喷泉比我记忆中的还要漂亮。而那些小路则带给人一种宁静悠闲的感受,几乎不会受到其他游客的打扰。下午六点左右去的,这样在晚上就能欣赏灯会了。哇,简直太漂亮了。成千成百盏灯把花园和道路衬托得尤为美丽,就像置身于童话世界一样,美得我们词穷。回家的路上,我们决定延续家庭的美好传统,以后经常来这儿。大家也不要错过哦。

这里很漂亮,适合游览,拥有Super Garden和Wonderful Children Garden花园。等我们孙子再大点,一定再来。来的那天是阴天,天气凉爽,到处是美丽秋色。

花园和宽敞的温室真的超赞。你可以在那里呆上大半天却不加察觉。这里和温特图尔(Winterthur)花园不太一样,因为这里更加正式,而温特图尔花园好像更基于本土能自然生长的植物。(温特图尔和朗伍德(Longwood)都从很远的地方引进了一些植物,不过在朗伍德你会觉得这些植物更你通常看到的生长方式、生长位置不太一样。)可以去两处看看,比较一下。

We spent an entire day at Longwood gardens and wish we lived close enough to spend many more. This place is a stunning collection of natural wonders and the talent that keeps it should be commended. The history of the family who began it is an interesting and informative tour in the original farm house and the world's largest conservatory is worth every square foot. I can only imagine a perfect game of crochet there by the indoor reflection stream with a picnic lunch. We loved the Italian water gardens, timed beautifully like a ballet. The tree house was also an interesting testament to human ingenuity in harmony with natural wonder. There are many places to hike and find solace on the grounds and the opportunities for photographs are numerous. It is well worth every penny of the entrance fee. Enjoy!

One trip and my family realized this should be a yearly tradition - what a beautiful combination of flowers and Christmas inside and out!

Magnificent. Just magnificent. Wonderful displays year round, summer performances and attractions, Christmas holiday show -- a wonderful day's entertainment.

wonderful garden setting even in winter. Only the indoor setting was available. It was snowing outside. Such beauty must be seen.

Amazing! I had not been in many years and a visit inDecember and another in March have made me realize what a treasure these gardens and conservatory are! The displays change five times a year, orchids reign in the cold of winter,bulbs for spring,fountains and fireworks in the summer,chrysanthemums for fall and stunning Christmas, indoors and out! A good place for kids too,plenty of room for running around and programs geared towards them! Just don't pick the flowers!

Longwood Gardens is a beautiful place at any time of the year. I've been there in winter, spring, summer, and fall. The firework and fountain shows in the summer are spectacular, the Christmas lights are pretty, the tulips in the spring are beautiful, and the fall colors are great. Nothing bad to say about this place :)

Beautiful gardens in the conservatory, we went in the winter so the gardens outside were in winter mode. Still lots to see and explore. The house and the tree houses were a neat place to wonder through. I would highly recommend going in the summer when everything is planted, but if like us you can only visit in the winter still very worth it the conservatory is stunning. We do not have kids but the childrens garden in the conservatory was so cool and fun, high light of the visit.

Being married 37+ years I tend to take life and my wife for granted at times. Well I decided to fix that at least on Valentine's Day. I decided to surprise my wife on Valentine's day with a date. After convincing my wife we were going on a surprise date we started driving towards Philadelphia . After a answering 1,000 question on where we were going I broke down and told here Longwood Gardens to see the Orchid display. After arriving at the parking area we entered the gift shop and ticketing building and then made the chilly walk to the Conservatory. We had never been to Longwood and even in the winter the grounds are beautiful. As we entered the Conservatory it was like walking into a different world. It was beautiful with a capital B. We spent the next two hours walking through the Conservatory taking pictures and looking at the lovely flowers and plants, especially the orchids. As we were leaving it started snowing giving yet another picture perfect look to the grounds. What a great Valentine Day date. We will be back in the summer .

Actually, Longwood is good to visit all year round. Christmas time brings the colored fountains to the tune of various Christmas melodies and the lights on all the trees is mesmerizing. The conservatory is warm and absolutely amazing with the different fauna and flowers. The outside grounds during the warmer months is filled with color as the various blooms explode! Well worth visiting. Plan several hours to take it all in.

I love long wood gardens. I got engaged there and intend to go back again as we are approaching our 5 year wedding anniversary. The gardens are breath taking!
