Nearly anyone five and up will enjoy the many features this gorgeous National Historic Landmark, an epitome of Chester County's past. With everything from knowledgeable tour guides to walking paths to a seasonal farmers' and artisans' market, there is little one cannot find here. Price of admission is low, a gift shop sells flour actually ground at the mill, group tours are offered, and wedding photos, etc., may be taken there. The buildings are lovely, the tours interesting, and the opportunities for recreation and to purchase from local farms and artisans in the summer months are not to be found many places. Check it out!

If you can go on a day when they are grinding this is an absolutely fabulous, and intriguing historical site!

The Mill at Anselma exemplifies Chester County’s industrial heritage. The Mill stands as the most intact, authentic example of a custom water-powered grain mill in the United States. It is a National Historic Landmark. The Mill illustrates milling industry over the course of three centuries. The tour guides spend about an hour or so guiding you through the mill and explains the history of the mill, its owners and the history of the surrounding area.
