yellow springs farm

My daughter and I visited the farm as part of a corporate getaway weekend. We both love goat cheese. At the farm, we were met by a flock of curious nubian goats; the males are kept separated from the females to control their population. The husband and wife gave up their corporate lives to concentrate on what they love to do; they were extremely friendly and gave us an extended tour of their farm and the history surrounding it. The farm is tucked away in the scenic rolling landscape of yellow springs, pa. The "farmhouse" and "curing room" have the look of a farmhouse in Tuscany. We were able to taste several varieties of cheeses, all made by hand. The cheeses we tried were delicious and we brought some home. They also make dessert syrups made with goats milk; they too were yummy. I see that they also offer varieites of plants and vegetables as part of community sharing. If you can, make a stop here.
