we liked everything about it,shops have anything you could possibly want or need,found a slow cooker mix that i have been looking for(bought 15 of them)we plan to come back in April and go to the smorgasborg(free on your birthday)people are very nice here.

When we go to Lancaster County, a grocery shopping stop here is a must. You enter into the produce area, but don't forget to get your items weighed and priced before you go to the register. Made that mistake more than one time. Then there is the bulk foods area. Stock up on snacks, baking goods, noodles, beans, mixes and more. Following is a well stocked fish case. Then comes the prepared foods case. This area is huge, with so many wonderful choices: salads, vegetables, desserts, meats and meals. A very large bakery and deli bring you to the back of the store. The meat section is also large, as is the grocery portion of the store. Be sure to stop by the cafeteria on the back side of the building before you shop or you may break the budget. Cafeteria is ok for a quick meal, but the Dutchette below the Shady Maple Restaurant is better. This place is a foodie's dream.

Their baked goods are worth the visit and reasonably priced. The aisles are not crowded. A good indicator is the number of local people shopping there. We picked up a shoo fly pie and a raspberry pie and both are delicious.

This is a great grocery store. You'll find many local items not found in your typical chain grocery store. Certain days of the week, there are a good many samples for your tasting. Especially around the bakery department! The prices are competitive as well. Outside the grocery story itself, there are a few choices for eating. Right outside the grocery store entrance, you can.grab a quick meal, hotdog, etc. Then there is the Maple Leaf cafe that offers a larger variety of food choices. There is outdoor seating in the warmer months. Across the street you'll find Good's Store, I'd call it a Mennonite Department Store. And across the parking lot is Shady Maple Smorgesborg being your appetite for that place. In the Spring, Shady Maple Market also offers a great variety of hanging baskets in their flower tent. Can't beat their prices.

The food is good, plenty of choices and the dining area seats 3000 in different rooms. The local family members love this place and I can see why.

What a great place to eat and visit! Food is outstanding with a huge variety for anyone! We visited on a Saturday which was more crowded than on a weekday. Celebrated a family event and had a great time. Large gift shop on bottom floor will take you time to see everything. Amish items available of course!Definitely worth visiting, can't wait to go back!

I never seen a smorgasbord so big in my life ! They had everything. If you left hungry you must have been sick lol. Polite nice people and no tipping allowed

We had a very enjoyable time eating here. There are so many things to pick from. There are lots and lots of desserts, meats, salads, and just about everything.

We usually stop there after eating at shady maple smorgasbord . For a country place, it surprisingly has a great selection of produce including some rather exotic items. Their deli is great and the cheese area next to it is wonderful. There is nothing remarkable about the prices. They are about the same as other grocers. Their health food section is excellent. I am still mad at them for discontinuing the scones the used to get but I got over it quickly:)

Outstanding prices, quality, and selection. No more words are necessary. I went to this town for years until one day I went here on the recommendation of my parents. I was sorry I missed out on shopping here all those years. Check this place out whenever you're in Lancaster.

They offer locally grown fruits and vegetables. I especially like the little packages of seasonings and candies. So much variety. It would take days to explore all the aisles and the many products they carry.

Shady Maple was an amazing market. They had everything and more. A lot of items made right there. A great shopping experience. Wish it was closer to home so I could shop there all the time

Wish i could shop here every week. They have a huge selection of fresh vegetables and fruit along with terrific freshmade salads, fresh meats, and a awesome bakery.
