What a great little theater with friendly staff. We attended a comedic act and enjoyed the whole experience. Small theater in a small town, but great for a getaway weekend. Everyone seemed to know everyone else in the audience. Show was good

BTE is one of those local treasures that's hard to believe: a resident professional theatre company in a small town. They perform in a beautifully restored theater that seats just a few hundred, so there's no bad seat in the house. The acting, from both the resident company and guest artists, is always first-rate, as are the sets and lighting (it's all done by professionals).If they're performing when you're in the area (or even an hour or two away - it's worth the trip), don't miss it!

I grew up in Bloomsburg and so have been seeing BTE productions my entire life, and as I get older, I appreciate the theatre more and more. Most small towns just don't have a group this good. The latest show I saw was Flood Stories, Too, which is a play created by BTE to share the stories of the local residents who went through the historic and horrific flooding in 2011. My family was affected by the flooding in another town, but BTE did a great job of not only chronically Bloomsburg's struggle with the flood, but also of conveying the feelings of anyone who has ever lived through a flood. The play was especially good at balancing the serious nature of a natural disaster with humor. At some point, you really do have to laugh or you'll just break down when dealing with disaster, and BTE portrayed that well. This performance was pay what you wish for the entire run of the play, however, they often have one "pay what you wish" night for their normal performances, making it very affordable to anyone.

They do some unusual things, some are meant strictly for adults, others you can include the children. Their holiday offerings are always favorites!

Bloomsburg is so fortunate to have this talented and dedicated bunch providing top notch entertainment at reasonable cost. Their productions are professional, family friendly, and current. They give back to the community and are an anchor to the town of Bloomsburg. Go see the next production now!!

I saw this group doing a world premiere of a play based on Jane Austen's novel "Emma." The cast were good, wardrobe changes almost nonexistent, but the production was fine and worth seeing. Would not attend, however, unless the play subject interested me.

We have gone to almost every show since 1985/ There hads never been a bad show. They are a great cast of professionals who hsare their talent with the community. Fanatastic

This troop of folks brings to life threir space, the material and provides great theatre to the local children of the schools in the area.They do such an awesome job engaging their audiences. We can't be more fortunate in our area to have such a fun group of actors in our midst.Definitely worth each penny you'll pay. The theatre does great things for the community and I recommend ANY of their shows and events.GO GO GO!!!!!

If you like live, professional theatre, you'll like the BTE. They have a variety of interesting performances each year and do a lot to promote live theatre in the local schools.
