briar valley vineyard & winery

We visited the Briar Valley Tasting Room in the quaint little town of Bedford, PA this past weekend. Joshua was very knowledgeable about all of the wines. We were able to taste all 11 of their wines for $5. I am a dry red drinker, and actually purchased a bottle of their Chardonnay which had hints of vanilla and caramel, and I purchased a bottle of their Lemberger, which had a more peppery taste with hints of warm spices and strawberry. They have very interesting items for sale in the tasting room, such as wine bottles that have been cut down and made into candles. They also have beautiful hand made leaves that were made from actual leaves and appear to be ceramic. Definitely worth stopping in; you won't be disappointed! Enjoy!
