Just saw the Mavericks there and the venue was great. Seats were folding chairs, but separated nicely with ample room for both upper body and stretching your legs. Not a bad seat in the place and if the weather cooperates you have a great place to see a show. Sound was also great on this night. The fire dept did a great job of getting cars out quickly after the show so the overall experience was just perfect. Can't wait to get back there for another show.

My husband and I have been to three concerts there with friends and we are impressed! Sounds good, every seat is a "good seat", easy to get in/out, well manned, no long lines to wait in and picnic tables to eat at. I read the negative comments about the venue charging for parking but, I don't mind, the fire company and police are there directing traffic and ensuring safety so obviously the venue has given a donation, so we think of it as a donation to the firehouse and police. As far as the ticket prices, a friend in the concert industry explained years ago that the venue doesn't have much control over the ticket prices, the bands demand a fee and the venue has to charge accordingly. If the venue can make some money off of food, beverage and parking then who can blame them? I don't think anyone would invest in a venture to break even or incur a loss! Happy that we have something close by, hoping more people give it a chance so it stays around. Looking forward to the Mavericks and Get the Led Out.

I really enjoyed the show but that may have been because it was a gorgeous night. It is outside and performances are rain or shine so had it been raining this may have been a whole other review. Upon arriving you are charged $10.00 to park which I thought was high. There are some concession stands with wine/beer and food but we ate just prior to going so we didn't buy anything but t-shirts. Once seated I thought the chairs were so close together that I felt I was on top of the person beside me. I am not a big person and I felt uncomfortable being so close. Leaving the area wasn't too bad as they had police directing traffic. Not sure I would take the chance of going again because with all the uncomfortableness, sitting in the rain would just be horrible!

For starters, this is an outdoor venue with no protection from the elements, so hopefully you get a nice night like we did. Otherwise, you're out of luck because the shows take place rain or shine (the stage is the only covered space). This venue is in an industrial zone, and some of the neighborhoods you have to travel through to get to it are a little sketchy. That said,it's nice to not have to go all the way into Philly to see a decent performance. BUT, you still have to pay $10 for parking, so that's a little ridiculous for this area. If you're taking more than one car, I'd suggest parking in the neighborhood to the north of the venue and piling into one vehicle to save. The acoustics are probably the worst I've experienced at a professional production, and it's not because the performers had low quality equipment. It's because this venue wasn't designed for live music performances. Unless you're sitting in the first few rows, you'll probably only hear a fraction of the sound coming from the stage because there's nothing containing the sound (it's an open-air field).Lastly, there is some fast food and drink available, but be prepared to pay stadium prices for it. A bottle of beer is $6 and a cup of wine is $8. The food is of marginal quality. For the price of tickets to get a seat at a show, we were expecting that other aspects of the event would be subsidized. Not the case. The saving grace of this venue is that it's so small, I'd say 700-800 seats, that you're not fighting traffic to come and go, to use the facilities, or to wait for concessions. We probably wouldn't return unless this was the only venue in the area hosting a favorite artist.

New venue in Delaware County, PA. They just started the summer outdoor concerts two weeks ago---was a little concerned on traffic, etc. The Bacon Brothers---quirky music but figured good place to start the look see.Hurried the wife and friends...promo said on-site parking open at 5:30, gates 6:30, music 7:30. Got there 5:30---3rd car in line...by 6:00---when parking DID open, we were one of about 6 cars there...LOL...yeah, the other 3 people with me were happy I rushed them.Ample parking---place holds maybe 1000 people---and you are parked close in.The Sun Center is a sound stage for movies, recording facility. Huge structure---the outdoor stage is next to the building, and the seating is folding chairs---comfy too, on a grass lawn. Surrounded by a 4 foot earth berm semi circel with the white holiday lights connecting newly planted fir trees, and tha seperates you from parking---it all gives a very intimate feel to the place. The expected T-shirt vendor shop, CD's of the band, etc---just one booth. Then there is a food tent---cheese-steaks (its Philly, man), burger, chicken tenders, Dawgs and fries. Basic stuff. Two dogs were excellent...big ole' beef dogs steamed...not my fav but good enough. Fries perfect.Next tent is beverages---tap beer, wine (Barefoot) bottles---basics but any port in a storm. We were in row Q on right side. No problem with spacing of seats...comfortable room. Close to stage---could see the musicians facial expressions clearly...just the sound wasn't right. No "stereo" or surround effect---more like we heard the right speaker bank...in time I am sure it will improve. But quality top notch.Beautiful night, people happy to see the big time Moooovie Star playing tunes---to watch some of the folks just run up to stage for selfies w/KBacon in background---like the circus was in town...LOLLocal Vol Firefighters man the gates and parking...very affable---Look up the concert schedule...for an easy going, no hassle night out, gotta try this.Last advice...tailgating is ok...we anticpated the wait (gates opened at 6:30) so brought some wine, etc, sat in the lot listening to the sound check, and then headed in. Best way to kill the time in between park and gate open/show time--but no food or drink inside the gates)---You will thank me for that tid bit!
